I can give it a shot, but honestly, the dream is pretty classic example of the mind trying to make a decision about something. I mean, you are scared of spiders, and obviously you were determined to solve the problem. You found the cause and executed a solution. The dream may or may not have been related to an existing problem you've been either too overwhelmed or too busy to deal with. Your mind was forcing you to come up with a way to solve the problem.
Obviously if there was a problem, the solution probably didn't entail shoving it in a large tent. But perhaps that there is something to be said for the idea that the tent was a symbol of a quick fix or the mind's need to avoid the situation all together. Or even more far a field, a containment of negative emotions. Your brain's way of tidying up messy emotional concerns.
That's really about all I got. Otherwise you watched some show about spiders. ;D

I don't watch anything with spiders in it.
I even leave the room during the spider scenes of LOTR:ROTK.
No, your first explanation sounds pretty good. I don't remember what I would have been concerned about at the time I had this dream but I have been stressed with various things so that does make sense.

Now it's time for a new dream. I hope I can remember enough details. I was going to get up and write about it this morning but I was too tired.
So, since I was lazy I remember very little context but the main imagery stuck in my head.
I just remember this one part of the dream. I was in a car going down a back alley or small side street in a large city along with someone else. I don't remember who was in the car with me.
I just remember seeing a bloody basketball bouncing down the street in front of us.
Then the ball bounced itself up some really steep concrete stairs. It was kinda like watching the ball go in reverse motion. Like someone had thrown the ball down the stairs but now we saw it going in reverse.
Except the person who threw the ball was missing.
The ball landed at the top of the stairs on a small landing in front of a door. There was also an old wheelchair sitting at the top of the stairs. It was empty.
I made a comment to whomever was in the car with me that the whole thing reminded me of some horror movie cliche. It was really strange.
Then all of a sudden the wheelchair flew off the stairs and landed in the car. The car was a convertable, it was actually rather similar to Angels car.
The chair was folded when it landed in the car.
I know more stuff happened after that but I don't remember now. I think we actually go the hell out of that place when the chair flew in the car.
I don't remember being freaked out about the dream in real life though. I just remember that I wanted to remember it so I could tell you about it.

I've had a few weird dreams like one about buying shoes and showing my friends, and there was one where I was a pole dancer.

That dream does have some interesting imagery in it. I was thinking Stephen King/ Stanley Kubrick caliber imagery. Very spooky indeed.
If I had to be literal, I'd say this dream has a lot to do with accessing aspects of your mind that you are either too afraid to interact with, or just don't have the capability or understanding to deal with yet. Perhaps there is a situation going on that you do not know how to deal with. You feel incapable, or lack the resources to solve the problem. This dream is your minds way of expressing the frustration of this.
When I say literal translation I just mean, take the imagery for what it really is. The wheelchair is a way for someone who can't walk, to get around. However, the stairs are the obstacle that hinders even that solution.
But, since the wheelchair ended up in the car, it may have belonged to one of the passengers, thus allowing them access for when they are ready to leave the car.
So, perhaps it's your mind's very odd way of telling you that there is a solution to every problem. So, the stairs represent the problem. You represent the ball....and the wheelchair plus the spontaneus flying of it, is the solution.
Too bad we can't take shortcuts like that in real life.
Well, there may be a bit of projecting going on here however, I've been having my own transportation issues of late, and they are becoming quite inconvenient since the person I depend on for rides is being less dependable these days.
But, take the analysis however you want, it could just be my wacky brain going someplace wonky.
Cool dream though. I sort of got this whole "The Shining" feel when I read it lol.

Thanks Feigy. ;D
The dream did have some cool imagery that pretty much stuck with me even though the rest of the dream kinda faded off.
I think your analysis is pretty much dead on too.
I really hope your transportation issues get better soon. Things are looking up for me in that department. Now I just need the cool job to go with my new degree and I'll be set - at least for a little while.

You sure have weird dreams. Yeah, but you have to admit they're pretty interesting too.
You should hear some of the stuff I used to dream when I was a kid. I used to entertain my best friend by telling her about me dreams all the time.

Guess what, it's time for another weird and wacky dream from the mind of Charisma69.
I took a nap when I got home from work today, my cough is coming back and I'm not feeling especially well.
Anyway in my dream I started out taking a nap, very much like reality. In my dream I got a phone call from one of the women I used to work with, she's the store manager of another store and not someone I actually talk to unless it's just polite conversation.
Anyway she called me and was asking me random questions about food that I like and such - I think she wanted to through a surprised BBQ for my Graduation which is odd because why would she care?
While I was talking to her I kept hearing lots of kids in the house and since my son is grounded I kept having to kick them out. As soon as I would go back to my room more would show up - different kids - and I'd have to kick them out.
Emily - the person I was talking to on the phone - thought the whole thing was funny because it kept interrupting the conversation.
Then, the last batch of kids was helping my son clean the house for some odd reason (I've never seen any of these kids in real life by the way)
Then for some reason I lost contact with Emily, the phone just went dead.
Then the phone started ringing and the caller ID said - and please don't laugh even though it is rather funny - Medium French Fries. Okay that's just too funny not to laugh at.
Anyway for some reason another girl from work was at my house, Teresa. She's not someone I'd actually hang out with, she's nice but annoying. Anyway she got a call on her cell phone from "Medium French Fries" at the same time I did.
Then we looked outside and it was snowing, like near blizzard snowing. In May, which for Missouri would be extremely odd.
And it was thundering. I don't really even think it was cold. We were just having a thunderstorm with snow instead of rain.
Anyway, for some reason my house had hardwood floors and my son and I started sliding down the hall in our socks singing "It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine"
Now that is a really screwed up dream. The food part may be because I hadn't eaten. Sometimes I dream about food if I'm hungry, but I can't actually say I was hungry. I still haven't managed to finish my dinner.
I'm not sure about the rest though.

I thought so too, especially the "Medium French Fry" thing.

Hah! You been working at McDonnalds for way too long hehe. Aside from the french frie part of the dream though, I'd say this one is a conscious dream. The kind that deals with all the stuff you have on your mind, no matter how important, at the time.
Of course your brain isn't really dealing with anything in the dream. But rather, it's just a reflection of the things going on with you right now. Not much hidden meaning or conflict. And unless the dream disturbed you in some way, it sounds like you had a good nap.

I still can't believe I was getting a phone call from "Medium French Fries".
I didn't answer the call though so I have no idea what what would have been on the other end of the phone.

I just had this really weird dream last night ...
Somehow, I was in my grandmother's house and I was sick. I don't what kinda of sickness it was, only it was bad enough that I was bedridden, but it wasn't contagious.
Anyway, it also turns out that me and Kaylee (yes, that Kaylee from Firefly) are friends, so she came over to see how I was doing. It ended up with us cuddling (we only cuddled. Get your mind off the gutter. ) as we watched tv. I then turned to her, and told her how I felt about her. She was horrified and kept saying that she was married and all (somehow, she became Jewel Staite sometime in my dream, and Jewel's married). I kept saying that it's allright and we could still be friends but I think I spooked her. She left with a haunted look on her face.
Does all this mean I have a stalker like obsession with her? Or am I just mad?
