Oh no the actors did a great job, I just never liked the whole "Freaky Friday" idea. But Five by Five and the following episode are both great.
Not saying I don't entirely love Faith's storyline I just had trouble with that one.

You are referring to the superior Jodie Foster version, right? ;D

Season 4 was ok. It had it's moments and weaknesses.
Didn't like Buffy and Riley at all
Wasn't thrilled with the Willow and Tara love thing either.
The overall was good though.

i think they missed a good thing with that switching talisman.
Esp. with the time tweaking powers of a vengeance demon.
Anya could have gone back and swapped Ben and Warren before the evil trio was formed.
Or she could have swapped Glory with Joyce just as the aneurism exploded.
Angelus could have been put in Lindsay's body so Angel wouldn't have suffered anything they did to his demonic half.
(Angel's bod could have been submerged in the pool or something. boring but not lethal.)
or Dawn could have swapped with dark Willow.
Dawnie wouldn't have had the skill or grief to fuel Dark Willow's destruction and the anguished witch in a normal body could have collapsed and mourned in a normal (if less cathartic) fashion.
the talisman, the curative demon blood and the little soul holding paper weight were quite conveniently underused.

I personally thought Willow and Tara made one of the better TV couples of all time. They really need to be on a list somewhere... I caught part of Pleasantville a little while ago. (I really love that movie BTW). Anyway, I never noticed that Riley and Jonathan are in a scene together. It's when all the teens are at the lake and it starts to rain for the first time. That really tickled me.

My wish list just keeps getting longer and longer.

i love 'Pleasantville'! i have a marathon i do when i'm in an 'alternate world' mood. I watch 'Pleasantville',"Dark City" ,'The 13th Floor" 'Gattaca' and 'Harrison Bergeron'. I guess you could throw in the first 'Matrix' and a few others. they ask a lot of questions about 'ideal' societies and if you should leave people where they are if they know what's going on and want to be there. the common thread is that any society is a nightmare if it's not in your interest and it gives you no choice. either i like very philosophical movies or i'm into dark, damp and retro.....

It's not exactly Oscar worthy, but it fits into your "ideal society" category. It has a slight Matrix feel to it. It's worth a rental.

I love Pleasantville. If it is on, and I see it, I will stop what I am doing, and just watch that. Tobey and Reese are just awesome!

Since I have been letting my dear lady watch Buffy we are now in the midst of season 5 after completing Angel months back. I must say I STILL think Season 4 is kinda blah. I don't think they knew what direction to go in after the high school scene was gone and two of the main characters left for the spinoff. I think Angel Season 1 is superior to Buffy season 4. Season 5 of Buffy is a vast improvement I must say so far. Glory ho . . .le. Wait thats a nasty word, scratch that

While checking out the new post in this thread I realized that I still haven't seen this movie. I need to add it to my list of things to do.

No love for Season's 1 and 2 I just now noticed. Very epic seasons. The Master can rise me any day ! And Angelus and Spike/Darla just helped make it all eery and borderline psychological. Still think they are better than season 4.
Chucking along season 6 at the moment. Just an episode or two past the musical one.
