I'm so looking forward to this but I may not be able to join in. The dvd player in my room is not responding.
I can't turn it on, push play, eject or anything. I can push the buttons but it doesn't help.
And my dvd is stuck inside it. It's still in there from when I set it up last week when we were supposed to do this.
I even tried unplugging the thing and plugging it back in to see if that would work.
I get the dvd start screen but that's it. The buttons on the player and the remote do nothing. It was working just fine last time I used it so I'm not sure what's up.
This is really irritating me. I could just watch it on the PSII or the computer but not if I can't get the dvd out. I don't want to tear up the player to remove it but I may just have to.
This really bites!

Oh, Cordy, that really blows.
I was just rushing in to say "HEY! I'm all cued up and I don't have people coming til 8!
Another continuance? Or should we go with the puppet show?

This sounds really analog, but did you check the batteries in the remote?
* equal parts worried and amused about mentioning "batteries" again in this forum *

I'm flexible.
EDIT
* equally worried that this posted after the mention of batteries *

I think we should go ahead and watch the puppet show. Let's give Cordy a few minutes to make it so.

Sorry, I was just taking apart the dvd player. I tried pushing the buttons on the actual player so batteries wouldn't be an issue there. The player itself isn't responding.
I still can't get the dvd out even though I've got the top off. There's a plate in the way and Enzo lost my small screwdrivers.
Give me a few minutes to go get Smile Time so we can at least do that. Sorry guys.

And maybe we can watch "You're Welcome" afterwards, it being on the same DVD and all.
