Is American Idiot a protest song? If so, it did well.

Won't they be airing it there?
Come to think of it ... I've usually seen the Best International Viddy by now. Are they not running it?
Oh, they will. It's just that I'm very disillusioned by all these award shows that take themselves too seriously.
I still watch the MTV Movie awards, that's still a hoot.
I love watching those. The year Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Geller hosted was excellent. I loved their Lord of the Rings parady. ;D

I voted for Kelly Clarkson. But I'm not bothered by Green Day.

Well, I'd like there to be any promotion of Serenity at all. Sorry.
Green Day wins Viewers Choice -- good viddy, too.

Well, I'd like a million dollars but I don't see that happening either. If we were watching the Movie awards I could see it, but this is the VMA's. Why would they promote Serenity here?

Is American Idiot a protest song? If so, it did well. Sort of. It was a general overview of the state of things -- the corrupt media, corrupt political environment, etc. etc.
If Ben Bagdikian wrote a rock song ...

It's Jamie Foxx and Destiny's Child.

It didn't get any promotion at all during the Movie Awards and it's coming up pretty quick, here, and G-d knows there's an audience.
What, it's a stupid suggestion or something? Fine. * shutting up *
Go Destiny's Child.

Best viddy: I'd accept any and all of them -- even Coldplay (though I'd be less excited).
Pulling for Green Day.

I'd be surprised if Serenity gets any promotion during any major award ceremony. They're just too ... manufactured ... to get it.

Go Destiny's Child.
The Movie Awards were three months ago, so there should probably not have been any promotion. If it was now...I wouldnt have been surprised.

Nice shout out to the troops. That was incredibly classy, given the range of takes they could've taken.
Kelly's not much of a live act.
