"Here endeth the lesson"
"What the hell are you doing?"
"You know you want to dance."
"It would never be you. You're beneath me."
I always feel sad for Spike just then. James plays that part so very well.

I don't buy Nikki's deathwish, tho -- must've been a misread on Spike's part -- she's got a son.
Nikki had a huge tie to the world in Robin.

Yeah, I love Spike's reaction when she throws the money at him.

That's another great bit where Spike goes to kiss her. He's been so wanting to all episode.

I know Cordy, poor Spiker...
It's times where I think Spike and Buffy deserved love.

The Chaos demon in the background is total genius.
So funny.

Oh, ew, I was so not expecting Harmony just then. Yeah -- Buffy broke his heart into itty bitties.

So funny. He really is.
This ending is just superb. And Sarah looks really hot too. ;D

I love this part.
Spike goes to kill Buffy, and he ends up being the one to comfort her.
And she doesn't really deserve comfort from him, she treats him like crap.

Yep -- great Chaos Demon. Sorry -- commercials -- I'm behind.

The ending always saddens me, this is when Joyce started to die slowly and Spike is such a darling, comforting Buffy while she blew him off.

Poor, poor Joyce -- thank G-d she didn't have to be around for "The Gift," tho. I agree, she doesn't deserve comforting, but it says a lot about Spike that he gives it.

This is also the beginning of the end of Buffy's relationship with Riley.
She starts slowly pushing him away after her Mom gets really sick.
It's all so very sad.
I love the way Spike awkwardly pats her back trying to comfort her.
Such a well acted scene.

Spike is such a darling, comforting Buffy while she blew him off. No, she didn't start doing that until S6. ;D
Was that quite a short episode?
