Learning Latin would be pretty cool. I took spanish in college. I had both elementary and intermediate spanish, but sadly I can't speak it at all. I made an A in both classes.
I wanted to take a foreign language in high school but my parents wouldn't let me. They said I wouldn't need it for anything. Now look at the world, we've gone global. I could have used some foreign language knowledge.

Ah, I'm sure they'll invent a way to download languages into our brains.
I would love to be able to speak Spanish. I was going to take it in school, but took Latin instead. Although we got to try out each subject at first and I was pretty good at the Spanish.

My user name comes from two words pinpointed in a Terry Pratchett book - I had to try it several times in order not to be coming up with things like 'sniffing' - but I hit on "traditionally" and "shouting" and thought - TraditionalScream.
It is unlike me (in that that I neither adhere to tradition, nor am screamy generally), and so I liked it, - and I think it came on the page of Wyrd Sisters that had the big ol' fat granny winning the greasy pole competition - and that's that opposite of my granny altogether (who is Christian and dignified).
It was gonna happen.
How do you scream in letters in wonder?

Speaking of alphabets, I wonder if I can remember Greek... alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta...um, eata (sp?), theta, iota, kappa, lamda (not a mammal), myu, nyu, the one that looks like a screw (xi?), omikron, pi, rho, sipka/sitka (sp?), tao, upsilon, phi, the one pronounced 'kai,' psi and omega. Hmmmm...looks like I'd better brush up...
