I love that: The more of the play you saw, the more refund you deserved.
They do need the money. I took in the Wednesday night show of "Grease" and they were shoehorning people into the theater and had to turn some away. And for last night, well, no the weather didn't look promising, but after opening night, they barely filled a third of the theater, so the buzz had absolutely gone forth. Yuk.
The ones I really feel bad for are the director, who knows better and has higher standards than this, and the two who were knocking it out of the park. Those are the ones my heart aches for.
I imagine the director spending last week getting very, very drunk after rehearsals, before just sighing and accepting that this was as good as it was gonna get.
At least admission is free for "R&J." Tho if they want their money back for a free show, we'll have done something terribly wrong.

Next week's episode is an hour early.
So the cancel dance is starting.
Next weeks ep is a two-hour ep though, or at least that's what the previews said.
Doesn't mean they aren't canceling the show but at least there's a reason for it coming on earlier - there will be more of it.

I'd missed where they said it was a two-hour installment.
My bad.
Still, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.

the really scary thing is they think now they can spot some of these kids from birth. sometime in their prenatal development, they don't get whatever they require to hardwire emotions properly. they lack empathy, for one,.... most babies will get distressed if they hear another person get upset or smile/laugh when others sound happy. these don't. Nor do they seem to 'get' social cues or understand the rules of behavior. Like the sociopath, they might be 'trained' to be good citizens but it would be like a person with no sense of smell or taste following a recipe or a deaf person playing music. they could create an acceptable product but have no sense of its significance. If you imagine these same kids not being detected and growing up in an environment where all the wrong messages were reinforced, then you have a far more frightening a result than one where there were at least some models of good behavior. I don't know which gives me more wiggins. the PTB going after the kids before they do anything or them being left alone. No wonder that demon Angel rescued preferred Hell to living inside a child like that. the void would be too darn empty. ----------------------------------------------------- i feel for the performers, too but R&J will be worth it just for the friar. maybe the inside will get picked up. quality sometimes wins.

I don't know what's meant to be wrong with Chloe O'Brien on "24," but she's absolutely more of an asset than a detriment. And if there was anything seriously wrong with her psychologically, she wouldn't be working at CTU.
So maybe, since social miscues are more common than serial killers, we need to err on the side of liberty. Yep, that philosophy does more likely put my head in the crosshairs, but better one Chloe than no Madisons.Aw, shucks.
* remembers it's a free show *
Aw ... shucks.

Does that seem right to you?
Not that is surprises me or anything. It's pretty sad when even Tim Minear isn't expecting to get to finish the show.
Of course it's not officially official yet but unless a miracle happens in the next couple of weeks they are pretty much done.

I managed to catch the Jane E ep, and that was pretty well done.
And I finally figured out why it was so hard for me to like this show; it lacks any relatable character for me. It shared this same problem as Point Pleasant since I really didn't care what happened to any of the characters.

I thought both episodes where wonderful, but Webs leaving was just well, wow.
And in the first episode tonite, and when Jayne was talking about food, it came up to the Blooming Onion, I laughed out loud, and recognised the reference. Also, him crying to the messages was very awesome.
