I can't believe he'd ever get picked to be on a jury. He's too smart and his wife works for the DA.
And he just said pretty much the exact same thing.

I'm supposed to be serving Jury duty sometime over the next couple of months.
They'll send me a postcard for when to show up. Then I get to get paid a whopping $12 to miss work.
I got called for jury duty in Chicago, but I didn't get picked. When I lived in Cincinannti I was on a grand jusry. We met twice a month and decided if cases had enough merit to go to trial.
I was in college at the time so it didn't interfere much. It was interesting too.
I was the foreman so I had to give witnesses their oath. I told one woman to raise her right hand. She glanced at her left hand, then her right and then finally raised her right hand. It was all I could do not to laugh.

This guy is a bad actor. He's trying to act like he's crying but I'm not buying it at all.

"They were in bed, they were making love. What do you want? Details?"
"Sure, if you're offering."

It's all over? Hopefully she'll dream about where the body is and they can have a new trial - for murder.
They can do that, right? If there's new evidence? Or does the "they can only try you for the same crime once" rule apply?

It might fall under double jeopardy even if it's a different charge. We might have to check with tickie though.

That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if body would make a difference.

They seem to be waiting until the very last second to resolve things this year. I keep thinking they won't fit it all in.
