that means you have a half chance of keeping it. focus on your studies. God and the drs. can help your grandmother.
talk to your school re your funds. there aren't many $2000 scholarships out there but i bet you might find ten $200 ones.
And,to be snarky, they only give the big ones to folks who obviously have a lot to offer and the little scholarships also tend to go to nice, intelligent people first.
So,they'll fund YOU before they do some average immoral dullard who needs money.
might not be fair but that's the way it works.
you'll do great.
just take it one bit at a time, one day at a time and assume those who believe in you (your friends, scholarship folk,God,etc.) know what they're talking about when they place their faith.
If any of it was beyond your ability, they'd have taken you aside and asked you to attempt less.
That said,it's part of your duty to look for guidance and help in accomplishing what you do.
the man with the hernia is not seen as stronger than he who uses a lever.
Have confidence in your success.
we do.

In America we've never heard of that word - or at least I haven't and apparenlty tj hasn't either.
It's amazing how different that slang can be in two different English speaking countries.

I'd actually come across the term a time or two in books, but I was under the impression that it was fairly archaic. I didn't realize that it was still in common usage.
Which kind of makes me want to start throwing out common slurs in US usage and see which one's surprise people from other parts of the world.
Except of course that that would be extraordinarily inappropriate...

Except of course that that would be extraordinarily inappropriate... I'd thought about that too, but then I figured they probably know all of ours.
But then again, maybe not.
I just find the whole thing to be fascinating. I didn't even realize that "w" thing was even a real word much less a bad one.
See, this is why you really must do research before you visit another country or you really can insult someone without meaning to.

TO say nothing of perfectly innocent hand gestures... Ah yes ... we talked about some on those in my International Marketing class a few semesters ago.
It's pretty wild the things that are innocent here but really offensive in other countries.

*refraining from commenting of the subject of cats being as I know I'll get really snarky - I love my cats* Oh, go ahead. It could be the great "She's Evil/She's Not Evil" debate from "The Closer."
For the record, tho, I love your cats too, so there'd really be no need to get personally snarky.
Unless you had to, of course.
I'll start: I think she was doing her job, that she thought she'd seen to the welfare of the living creature, and that she's not evil.

I'm being persecuted at work for my Gibbonist views. Or maybe it's because I stole all the post it notes.

No ... it's always religious persecution. It was foretold in the MOG.
