No twins for me please. I'm as big as a house as it is, I definitely don't need two in there. And why is it that people feel compelled to inform me how miserable I will be this summer. Like anyone is pleasant in 90 degrees and 90% humidity.

I appreciate the pants-wearing aspects of Methodism, found on page 39 of our Book of Discipline, which, in all reality, isn't nearly as hot as it sounds like it would be.

I appreciate the a/c TJ. You in ND any cooler lately? I think we are going to get some relief Friday, forecasting only 80 and much less humidity.

We've been downright cold the last couple of nights. And if last night is any indicator, you should be getting plenty of rain -- pretty much all night, from what I could hear.
The grass looks good, of course.

The picture I promised a while back is now awaiting some viewing in the Member's Photos Thread. Check out me the Country Cowboy in my fur felt hat. What do you think?

put me on that waiting list to TJ. anxious to hear any news. Off Topic side note- a lady this week had a 13 pound baby. HOLY HELL!! I am sure glad it wasn't me. the nursery at the hospital did not have diapers big enough to fit the baby. YIKES!! My younger brother was 13 pounds. My grandmother told my mom she better quit or the next one would come out walking. He's 6'7" now in case you were wondering. I'm glad to hear rain might be on the way. We really need it. I'm also loving the gibbon chorus line.

Oh, you have a fine brain, Reb, if it will remember to put sunblock on the rest of you if you're going to be outside for any length of time.
Funny you should be mentioning sunscreen. I went swimming again today after work with the gang and I got the brilliant idea to skip the sunscreen because I was too lazy to mess with it.
I brought it with me and everything, but didn't actually use it.
Now my arms are burnt. My face isn't too bad since I had a hat on - it helps keep the sun out of my eyes. I really don't like the sun.
So I now have that whole farmer's tan thing going on since I kept my t-shirt on. I'm glad I did or my back would be burnt, as would my neck and shoulders.
So now I'm really white everywhere except my arms. It looks rather silly and kinda hurts.
And I'm out of the lovely aloe vera stuff I used last summer that had burn med in it.
This is what happens when you're lazy.
I don't think I'll blister or anything, I have been out in the sun so my arms did actually have some color to them already.
And what's all this talk about Baptists not being allowed to wear pants? I was Baptized in a Baptist Church when I was 17 and I wore pants all the time.
Actually I generally wore ripped up jeans and Metallica t-shirts at that point in time and I was accepted into the Church.
And I don't remember having a screaming pastor or hearing anything about "the spirit moving you" in that Church. Now some of the Pentecostal (sp?) services I went to were scary but I don't remember dealing with any of those things in the Baptist Church.
Of course I haven't been to that Church since I was 18. The Church I used to go to here in Farmington was a non-denominational Church. I really enjoyed that Church and I likes our Pastor and his wife.
If I knew he was still there I might consider going back - last I knew he had gone to start a new Church somewhere.
I'm not at all familiar with the Methodist Church. Tj was the only person I knew who was a Methodist until I took my World Religion class.
