Congrats Reb.
I'm just now getting back from the hearing. The hearing that was scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
Apparently they tell everyone to be there at 3 and then they make you sit there all stinking day while you wait for your turn.
I didn't really eat before I left because I got up late, and I haven't had too much of an appetite recently, so I'm starving.
I've got laundry to do so I'll have something clean to wear to work in the morning, and I have to go to bed in a little over an hour.
And to top it all off I didn't even get to bring my son home.
I could have brought him home, but he would have had to plead guilty to making a felony bomb threat. He's so not doing that!
So instead the lawyer recommended asking for the Judge to be disqualified in this case since she's the same judge that issued the arrest warrant. Especially considering that JDC wasn't pushing her to do so.
So he said that she probably wouldn't let him out tonight anyway so we should ask for a different judge.
So, now I have to go through this mess all over again at another hearing with a different judge.
Everyone says that we do not want the first judge though.
The Lawyer says that they don't have a case so everything should hopefully work out. I just hate that my son is still stuck at JDC.
And I didn't even get to talk to him. I didn't get to explain why he's going to have to go back to JDC.
This really bites.
And I'm not sure when I'll get to visit him again, or when he'll get to call me.
I'm going to call tomorrow and see if he eligible for a visit tomorrow night or if I'll have to wait until Sunday. I really hope I don't have to wait until Sunday.
The other kids Mom is doing the same thing. I talked to her today. Apparently they didn't even catch her son on tape. They just searched his locker and found the papers.
They thought Enzo turned him in. I assured her that he did not.

Yeah, I'd go with the not-crazy judge too. Hopefully you get a saner one next.

I just got through perusing the last few pages of the Tropicana. You all were correct to assume that I'm a teeny bit happy about the White Sox. Last night's game seemed like it was scripted.

Question: Do White Sox players, in fact, wear White Socks? And what is a Sox, other than a cute way to spell Socks?

Yes, it's just a cute way to spell socks. The Red Sox and White Sox both have socks in their emblems.
I've honestly never looked at the actual feet of the players though. My stare somehow gets hung up a little higher.
