I was smoted! Who smoted me? I must have made fun of someone too much. Although I do believe I deserved to be exalted for sending tj the tape of DH and GA from a couple of weeks ago. I think that might have been me, but it was an accident though. My comp went all weird last night and it went all laggie. When I tried to click on the little page nav, it wouldn't come up and when it did. it said the usual thing when you smite or exalt someone.
I'm thinking of changing my screen name again, should I?

I'm thinking of changing my screen name again, should I? Not to worry - accidents happen! I might install a "no smiting" code soon, anyway - much better all round!
And a new screen name....hmmm....can't think of one off the top of my head....lol

Hey gang. How are your Saturdays?
I just saw that the Serenity dvd can now be preordered for only $16.98 on Amazon.com right now.
That is so awesome! ;D
That along with their other sale on DVD Box sets is just wonderful.
I bought Enzo Season One of the Simpsons on dvd for only $19.97 - it's for Christmas so don't say a word.

Eva is even funnier than I thought, she's doing a great job on SNL tonight.

It's official. People are Lunatics. I was watching NBC10, who got emails about Harry Potter being a PG-13 movie, and one of the people who wrote,
"I will not let my kids watch this. There is already enough evil in this world."
I mean seriously? Harry Potter is evil? Does that seem right to you? Well, it is darker,(hence why it's now PG13), than the other three movies. I went and saw it last night with a couple of people and it's not like the other three movies. This movie has the kids reaching teenage hormonal-age. Plus there is You Know Who, who makes his appearance in the movie--scenes revolving him were dark--and interesting. If anyone is curious, yeah, I enjoyed the movie. Cool effects. The storyline did seem fast, but was great. I was actually glad the movie went by quickly, because sitting there for 2 1/2 hours kind of made my butt ache. Really want to see the movie again, because of Voldemort, but really can't spare it.

No is doesn't seem right. They say that Harry Potter is directly responsible for more people turning to pagan religions. How dumb is that? Some people should just not have thoughts, like ever. Some people even say that about Buffy. And Charmed. In a way, I can understand their view, because the person sees their favorite character doing it, and thinks it's cool. Then they go and try it without thinking about what lies ahead. Those people really are stupid for letting anything from tv or movies influence them. If it were something else, that would be different, but only by basing it by what fictional characters do is just plain disappointing.

I completely forgot she was on there last night. Celeste finally came over. We watched The Princess Bride and I made burritos for diner since we were both broke. Diner was tasty too.
Then she left and Enzo and I baked some Chocolate chip cookies and watched Stand By Me and The Outsiders. It was cool to introduce him to those nice movies. I may even get him to read the books.
Right now he has to read the books his homeschool teacher brought for him to read. He's having a quiz on them tomorrow.
I baked more cookies today. We're having them for our managers meeting on Tuesday but since I have to work all day tomorrow and then I have the School Board hearing tomorrow night I figured I'd better go ahead and make them today.
I have to hide them to make sure Enzo's Dad doesn't get into them. I also have pie in the freezer for Thanksgiving that he better stay out of. For one he's not supposed to have it, but also it's for Thanksgiving.
I'm going to put a sign on them that says, "Do not touch unless you want to die!"
Pie is a serious thing. I was going to try and make a homemade pumpkin pie this year - I've never made one - but it was cheaper to buy the good frozen kind than it was to buy the ingredients to make the pie. Does that seem right to you?
I still need to clean up my house a bit more before everyone comes here for Thanksgiving but I've been slaving over a hot stove all day so I'm going to relax now and clean later. I'm such a slacker. ;D

Evening guys.
I've posted my browncoat "costume" (if you can call it there) at the forums there. Call it a precaution. And apparently someone has problems with my ears.
Glad you found a lawyer, Cordy. I was beginning to think the stereotypes about lawyers were right.
Saw HP last week. It wasn't Serenity, but it wasn't a bad way to spend 2 and a half hours, I guess. Had some slight issues with the fact that most people didn't even have lines.
Like your new name, Pheo. Gen-X was one of my favourite X-titles before Scott Lobdell and Chris Bacholo left and the series was screwed over by the replacement writers.

That is so funny. It's funny enough that it just might work. I'm going to try to submit it and see what happens. It's not like they can take points away if it doesn't work. ;D

I wanted to try something along those lines, but I don't have a digital camera. I also didn't have the faintest idea what I was going to do anyway.

Oh, and YEE!
I got another friend hooked on Firefly. I've been talking non-stop to her about Serenity for the last couple of months, and she finally got tired of it. So she demanded the DVDs so she could see what the deal was.
Last night, she texted me asking if Jayne was going to betray Mal in the movie. And she used words like Rutting and Shiny.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have another convert. ;D
Oh, and being the magnificent bastage I am, I told her "possibly".

Is no one watching the NBC movie version about that Posideon(sp?) ship? It has the actor who plays Hamilton and Jayne as one of the main characters in the movie.
