With the weather turning nice and some decided festivity in the air, a visit to the theme park seemed in order.
Our animatronic Lorne doesn't stand out so much with the many plushy characters on the stroll, but Auntie is looking resplendent in her big thick glasses, tuxedo and skullcap.
Oh, there that music goes again ...
* watches Auntie explode in a frenetic burst of terpsichorean frivolity *
Aaaaaaanywho, after you've enjoyed the Holy Water Floom and the Silver Bullet and the Crossbow (that one'll put the marzipan in your pie plate, Bingo) you can stop in and enjoy a nice refreshing refreshment served by our helpful zombie staff and who knows? Maybe sing a number.
You're in SIX FLAGS over LORNE'S -- enjoy!

Wow but you guys were chatty today. Congrats to the Feller, Py. Here's hoping he get's hired. The tattoo talk reminded me of a Steven Wright joke. He said he wanted to get a tattoo of him, only taller. No tats for me though. I'm a wimp. ;D As for the movie Friday, I might be working. If not I'll check my video store and see if they have it. I'm probably going to celebrate my birthday after this project is over. Not worth going out Friday night when I'm working Saturday morning.

They were so very chatty today. There were several things I wanted to comment on in the other thread but it's all finished now.
Congrats to The Feller though. I really hope he gets hired. It should be a no-brainer.
The tattoo talk was mad fun. I agree with Dez and Spk, no calf tattoos for guys ... or anyone for that matter. They look so white trash.
I really like the design choice Py and Spk agreed on for Py's tat as well. It'll also last much longer since color fads on tattoo's.
I don't have any tats myself but my friend Celeste (can I still call her a friend if she never returns my calls?) has lots of them. She's addicted to them I think.
She even wants me to get one. I can't think of anything that is permanently me though. If I ever think of something I might get one but otherwise I'll leave it alone.

There was a memorable episode of Bosom Buddies where the two guys get drunk and go get tattoos. Tom Hanks' character chickens out as the needle touches him. He tells everyone it's a love dot.

Hello, everybody.
Gilmore Gilrs and Veronica Mars were fun tonight. As for VM, I am as confused as ever to what happened in the season premiere. Damn you, Rob Thomas.

Gilmore Girls was wonderful tonight. I haven't gotten to see Veronica Mars yet. Actually, I just realized I still haven't seen last weeks ep.
I downloaded it but haven't gotten around to actually watching it yet. This week's ep isn't up yet as far as I can tell. It should be up by tomorrow though.

How about a song by a band who will be on SNL this weekend, Pearl Jam, and this song just rocks.
I felt the earth on Monday It moved beneath my feet In the form of a morning paper Laid out for me to see I saw his face in a color picture I recognized the name Could not stop staring at the Face I'd never see again
It's a shame to awaken, world aflame What does it mean when the war has taken over? It's the same every day in a hell man-made What can be saved, and who will be left to hold her?
The whole world... Will now burn... Yeah, it's a world wide suicide
The whole world... Will now burn... Yeah, it's a world wide suicide
Medals on a wooden mantle Next to a handsome face That the president took for granted Writing checks that others pay And in all the madness Thought becomes numb and naive So much to talk about and Nothing more to say
It's the same everyday and the wave won't break Tell you to pray, while the devil's on their shoulder Laying claim to the take that soldiers save Tell them to quit it, the truth's already out there
The whole world... Will now burn... Yeah, it's a world wide suicide
The whole world... Will now burn... Yeah, it's a world wide suicide
Looking in the eyes of the fallen You got to know there is another, another, another, another, another... Way
It's a shame to awaken, world aflame What does it mean when the war has taken over? It's the same everyday and the wave won't break Tell you to pray, while the devil's on their shoulder
The whole world... Will now burn... Yeah, it's a world wide suicide

I hope if anyone can make it that they will. Last year was just me discussing it in Kev's forum (before it stopped displaying on my machine) and then Bango making fun of me.
If you haven't seen it, it's not deeply offensive although there are serious liberties taken. Also, it didn't touch on the Ressurection -- just the Passion. It's less interested in evangelism than in Art, and it is almost self-consciously '70s, but I just find it to be a great way for me, personally, to observe Easter -- especially since I won't be able to make it home -- and I believe anyone joining in will enjoy it.
WARNING: There is a fairly bloody scene while The Christ is being flogged. You can absolutely look away while that's going on.
It's not anything like as gory as Mel Gibson's painfest, and most of these people have truly sing.
Cordy -- Just cause the thread is locked doesn't mean you can't comment. Backlinks and quote boxes, dontcha know.
q -- So good to see your voice. WB!
Heading over to viddy the new crossover.
Night everyone.
