now that excuse makes perfect sense to me.
in the past i've gotten behind on my isp bill, (i could write stuff but couldn't put it online until my net privileges were restored. kinda like blogging from a toaster -only sans crumbs.) and had my 'puter removed because i hadn't cleaned my room.
now Grail seems like a nice responsible person but he could have gotten 1. broke or 2. punished for a relatively minor infraction. it happens to the best to us. if Jordy says his 'blogging' consists of Jack Torrance style repetition of phrases like: "I will not tease my sister.", "I will clean my room before chatting with friends.", "I will not use the last of the woad to dye the cat." then he'll probably get back after he's suitably chastened. we can but hope.

How is he blogging if his computer has been taken away? He wrote the first blog before they moved his office telling us that they were going to be doing so.
The next blog he wrote before he went to the beach.
Seriously, if you want to read his blog just click on his username at TV.com and read it. There's no big conspiracy though it is fun to watch grail and bitterman fighting over the bucket privileges ... er ... I mean ... ignore the person behind the curtain. Y'see, Py, that was the question I was saving for her stung retort.
But in that it is a perfectly valid question -- and I'm assuming he's not blogging from his toaster oven -- yes. Quite. If he has the computing power and focus to blog, how does he not have the computing power to stop in and say "hi"?
Or, because everything reminds me of Shakespeare these days, "How has he the breath to tell us he's out of breath?"
The blog in Jordy's closet, perhaps. Said the man that now wants to kill off poor grailwolf since he was denied the privilege of killing off bitterman.

What I'm wondering now is- WHy hasn't cordy voted in the poll? I haven't decided which choice I like better. I'm indecisive today.

Dammit. I'm forgetting key plot elements, but I believe Jaynedelia69 is the one who takes off without g'Reynolds and zoe1903 -- or tries to, anyway. I'm just gonna get it wrong, anyway, but I think it's "The Train Job" where that happens. I was thinking "Safe," but "Safe" is the one where g'Reynolds takes off without Nasty Simon Tam and SummerGlauDntLeaveMe.
I don't believe tjBook has tried to murder anyone (maybe in "War Stories" during the firefight, but not very many other places) and he's certainly not the one who tries to take over the ship every 20 minutes and strand everyone on moons.

But as we aren't those persona's on this forum what has that to do with anything?
And Book is the one with the mysterious past that has some serious darkness to his character if what River heard (in her head, but that doesn't make it less true) is to be believed.

He was talking about his computer at work. His office was getting moved - you can just read is blog for the why of things.
He tried to let everyone know but didn't have time to post it everywhere so he was hoping people would actually read his blog to save him some time.

I reckon he's sat in a field somewhere, pointing at things and laughing.
Cos, y'know...stuff is funny.

oh. ok. but i was still getting grounded when i was in my thirties. (i think that was for using the dust ruffle to conceal under- the-bed storage to the point that the feet of the bed were no longer touching the floor. but i got everything out of the middle of the room!)
glad he'll be back soon-and have a better office.

I have read Grail's blog.
ANd I notice that if you only take every 3rd letter, he clearly spells out 'Help! Bucket is getting full. So thirsty. So very thirsty. bitterman only wearing underpants. Wondering how long it takes to become 'Jail Gay'. Send mcmuffins. Purple Monkey Dishwasher.
A coincidence? I think not.

I'm particularly worked up about that 'Purple Monkey Dishwasher' crack.

I'm particularly worked up about that 'Purple Monkey Dishwasher' crack. That was rather inspiring.
I think that maybe you and tj should no longer be allowed to have the special brownies.
It's making you both a bit paranoid.
