A Whedon/Bloodworth combo project in fact already exists. It was called The Golden Girls. Linda Bloodworth Thompsen (Thompson?) and Tom Whedon worked jointly thereon. Tom Whedon?

The Phoenix, you're just in a transitional stage. your adult voice will be even richer. check with a good voice coach about how to work with your new instrument. be careful not to strain it. even girls can have their voices change. i was a dead-on alto and could even do a decent tenor if we were short on guys. (think mama maybelle carter's sisters) I sang tenor for 3 years. On our first away concert, they separated the singers by parts. "o.k.,sopranos and altoes, second floor rooms, tenors and basses,go to third...CINDY!!!! you are now an alto. go back downstairs." I still sang tenor until my senior year. then my voice altered and my college voice teacher brought me up to soprano/second soprano. don't give up on your voice. just learn to make the most of what it's become.

didn't Tom Whedon do the Dick Cavett show and the electric company? (the latter is being revived)
through his association with Paul Junger Witt there's also a link to Ron Koslow of 'Beauty and the Beast'.
no wonder Joss grew up appreciating talent, intelligence, humor, eclectic ability and wistful horror.
he probably grew up immersed in it.
(btw, love Tom Poston -and tom paine and tom swift)

I believe his Grandfather was also associated with 'Your Show of SHows', although I may be mistaken on that point.
I have heard him say in interviews that he grew up surrounded by his father's writer friends, and that the highest goal he could accomplish was to make the room full of them laugh.
Gotta be a good way to grow up.

purely unintentional,i assure you. although i can tell you that being rude to sopranos (upper and lower case versions) is a good way to keep hitting the high notes. Plus, you'd never have to worry about male pattern baldness. But if being castrato doesn't suit you, just enjoy your metamorphosis. everything else about you is going to be new so why not a new vocal range to go with it? you'll learn how to make beautiful music with your new self as well. just give yourself time to get accustomed to it.

you'll learn how to make beautiful music with your new self as well. That sounds a tiny bit too naughty to me.
