I got to vote today! For Obama!
Honestly, I should get a prize or something. My left foot has been killing me all day and I still managed to hobble comically down to the Democratic caucus.
I wish I'd been in a better mood. There were Democrats everywhere. In fact, when the polls opened at 2, I couldn't even get a parking spot. Everyone, it seems, was just starving to vote for a Democrat for the first time in far too long.
Heh heh. ;D

Occasionally something gets twisted somewhere, generally a couple times a year. I've got an appointment to get batted about by a chiropractor tomorrow a.m.

Good luck with that, hon. I was afraid you'd gotten run over by a herd of Lutheran caribou or pulled a tendon working out with kettleballs as you took your constitutional up some frozen street. Be sure and wear nice, supportive footwear.

Well, I wanted to vote in the Democratic Primary in Delaware for Barack Obama, but I couldn't because I am a registered independent (Delaware in a closed primary). I'm happy to see that he won here by a good margin, considering some polls had Hilary up by 25 points in early December.

Both of my parents voted for McCain in the Republican Primary in the state.
Oh, god, I'm getting an Ann Coulter banner ad above. Nooooooooooooooo!

Very fun results. I enjoyed watching. Delegate count as of this very moment: Republican: (1,191) McCain 703 Romney 293 Huckabee 190 Paul 14 Democrats: (2,025) Clinton 1024 Obama 933 Looks like the Democrats are going to dish it out until June when the last ones roll in. I'm glad McCain is doing well, he's my pick Recap: Clinton did well in the large delegate states. Obama did well in the midwest and south for the most part. McCain did well in large delegate states and the North East. Huckabee did well in the South. And Romney did well in Mormon town near Utah. And Paul, just go away, I can't stand you.

Hello and howdy do, one and beloved all! I just received a parcel of love in the mail today. Yes, actual love. But not the sticky kind. Our own dearly treasured ITL sent me the Doctor Who Christmas special, DESPITE the fact that I'm a terrible friend and haven't been around for simply ages and ages. Bad Py. Very bad Py. Anyway - the catch up - Fireman-ing is going well. Finished all my class training. Now I'm learning to drive all the trucks and operate the pumping equip. thereon. Whee! The job is keeping me running absolutely ragged. Who knew public television involved this much work? And hey - the city posted our official pictures online! I have a dopey - 'I-have-gas-pains' sort of smile (I didn't, for the record, but there you go) But hey - An official picture is an official picture. It can be found at www.ci.brooklyn-center.mn.us Just click on the dropdown menu for departments, click on 'fire' This will take you to a screen with a lovely picture of our new chief, Lee. Then click on the link for 'Firefighters' in the top left-ish area. I'm on Page 2 - The last name's Heinrich, for those who have forgotten in my absence. And Fun Fact - The guy whose picture is to my left- one Brandon Gauch - Just started working with Roy as a security guard at the nearby hospital. They both got hired at the same time a month ago - The only two open positions and they go the the Feller and someone I firefight with. Brandon doesn't (to my knowledge) know that Roy and I know each other. Sitcom premise just WAITING to happen,,,

Go here. I met Eliza Dushku and Summer Glau! Photos of meeting. Joss as well. Oh, yeah, there are pictures of the Cruise I went on with a lot of Browncoats. Jonathan M. Woodward gots me drunk and made me have a one-night stand with ciggies! That tart. (Ciggies, not Jonathan.) Oh, he is a tart as well. I talked football with Ronnie Glass. Michael Fairman is a hoot and Nectar Rose is a hottie and a sweetie.
