Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
We have teeth, ok a tooth but it has been a long time coming.
And his first pair of shoes. The Holy Vessel is growing up. Makes me a little sad.

He's got a few milestones to go before he gets grown-or even before he gets insufferably human. Here's good wishes on the teething thing and a reminder that shoes (like friends) are to be judged by how comfortable and supportive they are and how well they keep you from stumbling and help you get where you need to go. Being cute and popular is of far lesser importance. If he remembers that,he'll have no problem with his walk whatsoever. Keep smilin',O One-toothed Wonder!!! ;D (It makes people wonder what you're up to.)

Where is Rebl-Man when we're talking sunscreen??? ...Battling a lousy broadband connection in his dorm... Truthfully, he's been having to be strong at heart. Overcoming a death in the family and going to a new college is his current priority.

I hate that Chris is going through bad times.
College,he can handle.
Losing a loved one is harder but perhaps this will help his family reaffirm their priorities and show support for the ones they have left and their future.
(Was it his grandmother who passed on?)
I'll be sending prayers his way.

Really sorry to hear about Reb. I hope stuff sorts out for him.
Today was a long and reasonably productive day. I wrote two reviews for "The Closer," took in four hours of really good programming, got new ink for my printer, and built a page of brownie recipes to die for, complete with a photo I took of brownies I baked. I took them to work today and there were some very nice compliments.
The brownies themselves are evil. I'll post a link when we update the site. They're my mom's recipe and they're really some of the best I've ever had. Yum!
There was a bit of a hiccup where I didn't know what my main story for Thursday was going to be until about, oh, 3:30 when the guy who was meant to be writing it (was meant to be done with it yesterday, photos included) showed up and said oh yeah, he'd get that put together for me.
It's a good story -- local band Charlz Newman opened for Bon Jovi in Pennsylvania, if I'm remembering correctly. Decent photos and a nice story.
Beyond that hiccup -- and my writer for Friday's main story turning in a piece where she referred to everyone in it (two different families) by the same last name (oy -- I could work it out logically who she was citing but that was ... odd) -- reasonably good day.
Bango -- I got your viddies posted on my blog. Some really nice pieces in there.
Have great nights, everyone, and Reb, if you stop by, we're thinking about you. All strength.

Congrats on your day,tj.
Tell your editor to stock up on hemp, bamboo and recycled paper.
Once that brownie recipe gets out, there will be a significant increase in circulation.

Hope's Reb is okay. I've got a real crazy busy day ahead of me. The last 2 days were pretty good, but that just means it's waiting to hit me all at once. School starts today. And the little guy has orientation tomorrow, then he starts next Monday. I've got the last 5 episodes of A5 ahead of me. Hopefully I can manage to watch them tonight. Hope everyone has great daze days!

(Was it his grandmother who passed on?) No. It was his grandmother's brother. Both she and Chris were there with him, when he passed,(he'd been dying of cancer). Bango -- I got your viddies posted on my blog. Some really nice pieces in there.

I just finished watching "Conversations with Dead People", and I just love the song the bookends the episode.
Blue Angie Hart
Night Falls I fall And where were you? And where were you? Warm skin Wolf grin And where were you? I fell into the moon And it covered you in blue I fell into the moon Can I make it right? Can I spend the night? High Tide Inside The air is dew And where were you? Wild eyed I died And where were you? I crawled out of the world And you said I shouldn't stay I crawled out of the world Can I make it right? Can I spend the night *Alone? Alone? Alone? I fell into the moon And it covered you in blue I fell into the moon Can I make it right? Can I spend the night? Alone?
Thank you.
