Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT!!
Windows Movie Maker is still crashing on me. Grrrrr..... I've tried some freeware editors and a couple of professional ones I found on bittorrent, but they're pretty useless. For some reason, WMM has a few built in filters that the others don't have - and you guessed it, they're the filters I like to use....

They know greatness when they see it. (Let's see what your old bosses say.)

I use PowerDirector, which came bundled with my tuner card.
It crashes occasionally, but regular saving has absolutely diminished the headaches.
I'd hate to actually be composing on WMM. It's a lot better at taking the finished viddie and making it smaller.

Taking alex's bucket away could lead to ... other issues.
Can't I just hit him over the back of the head with a wrench?

WMM is easy to use, but you have to pain with it always freezing up at some point. I always had to constantly save my video projects after a certain point, and take patience not to rush when adding the effects I wanted. I also couldn't play back and watch how the video so far looked, from the WMM video screen--playing it made it freeze up too.

I was working on my first video today and I had nothing but trouble from Window's Movie Maker. It was a pain not being able to preview my video unless I restarted the program. It's a wonder I finished the video at all.
I am fairly happy with the finished product though, since it was my first time and all that. If I'm going to make more videos I'm going to need to find a better editing program though.

Yeah, these things really don't do themselves, do they? ;D
Nice one, Cordy.
