Muwahahahahaha, that's right, it's back! Every show has to have it's stinkers, right? On Buffy, it's my personal opinion that the worst episode was 'Superstar,' although 'Beer Bad' and 'Lessons' were pretty damn close. Let the madness begin!

In AtS, I'd say She from season 1 - only redeeming feature, the funky dancing.
In BtVS, the one with the evil robot from season 1 - not that I have anything against evil robots, you understand. But I don't like that episode.
;D

I love every single episode of both of the series but there was a few not-so-great ones. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Teacher's Pet, I Robot You Jane, Beer Bad. Angel: Life of the Party, Expecting, Bacholer Party.

I think I repessed I Robot, you Jane. That has to get a vote. The most annoying thing for me about Beer Bad, was the excuse in a later episode to give poor Willow a lecture for having a drink after Oz dumped her. Je-sus. For Angel, hmm, 'She' was bad but gets off the hook because we get to see Angel half naked at one stage, dancing in another, and Cordy berating him for being anti-social the morning after the party. Angel saying how he got along with one woman and Cordy saying: She thought you HATED her! ;D So for Angel I think it has to be the one (was it Dad?) where the story was the baby is crying all day. Boy.

AtS: Cautionary Tale, no question. No excuse for such a lame episode to exist 12 years into the 'verse.
Buffy: that's harder, there were some real stinkers early on, merely because of the lack of any idea on Joss' part what the hell was doing. But later on, post season 3, there isn't any excuse. So probably Superstar, yeah.

Two votes for Superstar eh? Weird, I thought that was hilarious.
Ats: I agree Life of the Party and Cautionary Tale were pretty poor, but at least the latter had a point.

It ruined the prom scene for me. Jonathan's sincerity was completely diminished, because we found out he secretly wished HE was getting the class hero award, and wasn't really grateful at all. Funny, I loved TCToN5, one of the few really good, dark episodes of S5 in my mind.

C'mon. The mailguy walks around in a wrestling mask! It's so obvious a gimmick, how could anyone approve that script? Sure, the themes were there, it was dark, yada yada. But the execution was just so, so poor.
Worst. Evah.

I really liked "TCToNC".
Least Favourite Angel: "Quickening", "Calvary" and "Over The Rainbow"
Least Favourite Buffy: "Older And Far Away", "Two To Go", "All The Way", "I Robot, You Jane" and "The Gift"

Buffy: I Robot, You Jane.
Angel: Probably 'Bachelor Party'. But 'She' was pretty bad too, apart from the dancing.

Buffy: I robot You Jane I never much cared for that one or Teachers Pet.
I loved Lessons and Beer Bad is one of my fav. Season Four eppy's.
I'm not sure which Angel episode is the worst. I'll have to get back to you on that one.

How can you guys not like Bachelor Party? That was like the Doyle episode. I mean, after that we got that god-awful flaming piece of crap 'I Will Remember You' and then he dies. BP was a great episode.

I don't think Jonathan was being jealous or insincere when he gave Buffy her golden parasol award in The Prom. I think he built it into his fantasies later, because he thought it was a powerful, emotional moment. Sure he stole it, but after he crafted his Superstar plan, not in the moment of giving it to Buffy.
Someone mentioned on TVtome that TGIQ speech by Angel to Spike about "signalling her with my eyes" ruined Becoming for them in retrospect. But Angel was just messing about, being stupid, not serious, so it ruins nothing for me.
But I could have done very well without EITHER of these scenes.

Yo, Nasty, what was wrong with Calvary? IMO, it delivered the two best lines in the entire series!
Cordelia: “Do you know what Angelus would do if we let him out?” Lilah: “Kill you all in a bloody shower of violence, but hey— (puts her hands together as if in prayer) greater good.”
Angelus: "I haven't and will never give up on you. We'll get through this thing . . . together." Lilah: (chuckles) "I can't believe we didn't crush you people years ago."
