So is my Jim. (He hasn't gone so far as to let me have the trash-talkin' Ermey doll. ) We have watched the Military Channel,Discovery and History Channels for hours on end. Jim's family is from England and we'd love to visit his relatives in Alderney and Bristol and see Yorkshire,London ,etc. (And guess who his favorite sleuth (and namesake) is?

I like the texture of your hair in the 3rd one. Photoshop rawks!

It surely does! The third pic uses a watercolour effect.

Yes!
It evokes the idea of flame or ectoplasm- as if one were viewing a ghost or elemental.
(Or someone not-quite-in-sync with the frequency of this dimension.
A super speedster ,perhaps?)
This could have an impressionistic vibe or could suggest the visual equivalent of crackling static if you wanted the blurring to mean something 'faster' or more on the tech-y side.

i like the 3rd and 4th ones as well. I like those too! So brilliant! The 4th one seemed like an actual charcoal drawing(by an actual artist). That one's so cool.

Thanks guys! Funily enough, the 3rd one is the Photoshop "charcoal" effect - the 4th one is an effect called "crosshatch"

Here are some that I took on the last day of school. None of them are that great, they just happen to be some photos I remembered to finally upload today. I just sort of picked ones willy nilly, so they don't go in chronological order. This is Ali (tongue) and Ronnie (sad looking) at lunch. The hand to the side is Ashley's. It was her birthday. It's a Pepsi can in my cupholder. You can also see part of my leg and my girlfriend's shoe. These are three of my friends and my sister walking to my van. Most of them just happened to be looking away. Steve is just a jerk and won't let me take a picture of his face. This is more kids walking out of school. Ronnie is in this one yet again. That wasn't intentional, she just somehow was standing in all of the non-crappy pictures I took that day. This is my girlfriend, Casey (the blonde one), and her friend, Michelle (brunette), waiting outside my minivan for a ride. Casey wouldn't let me take a picture of her so I had to sneak attack her, and even then I only got her back. Also, my new avatar is a photo I just took today. It is the TV that I named myself after. It's looking blue in the picture though, I assure if you see it in real life its actual color is a little bit darker shade of the color I have my name in.

Nice pics, Teal!
I wanted to get a picture of Py and Roy and the pups, but there were battery issues, and I figured at least there's already a picture of Py and them on the board.

Wow, those are really good pictures you took, teal. Whenever I take pictures, they never come out this sharp.

Well, to be fair, you're taking them from satellites aimed at Alexis Denisof's house.

Wow, those are really good pictures you took, teal. Whenever I take pictures, they never come out this sharp. Well, thanks. Maybe I have crazy skills, but it might just be that my camera was the best one Best Buy had (at least that's what my mom said when she gave it to me last Christmas). It also might be that I take about 75 to 150 pictures whenever I carry my camera around, so I'm bound to catch at least 5 good ones.
