Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III on SciFi, for some reason.
Had a brush of insomnia myself. Not fun.
And naturally, nothing to do with being 11 months pregnant, either.

Thanks for the invite. I can't begin to imagine the medical bills involved. Plus, all the awkward silences around the holidays.
Py, I haven't asked you recently how Serenity's doing (maybe for the same reasons I haven't wanted to give you a nice paper cut and pour lemon juice on it). Share if you care to.

Serenity's good, although she suffered a last minute name change to 'Harley Heather' upon birth.
I liked Serenity but she was all 'I'm the mother' and stuff, so I got overridden. What's up with that?
She's absolutely great. They were just down last weekend. Three months old and heartbreakingly adorable. She and our Vizsla fell instantly in love with one another. He laid in front of her crib protecting her the whole time she was there, and when he went to lick her toes and say goodbye she reached out her tiny little hand and patted his enormous nose. It was love at first sight for both of them, I'm telling you.

Now I know why the cat in your Avatar went postal, it was jealousy.

"Harley Heather"?
* wars valiantly against images of biker bars and tattoos *
Well ...
I'm not going to say anything awful about an adorable little baby, but "Serenity" was a much better name.
With absolutely no offense meant. If she's good enough for the Vizsla, she's plenty good enough for me.

She can keep 'Serenity' in reserve. Her private name for herself.... Harley Heather gives her options. She can go all strong, adventurous and iconoclastic or be a child of the earth,Old World and romantic. Plus,"H.H. Surname" will look so cool on her attache' case. Today,Vizlas,tomorrow-the world!

And she came forth, the holy Viszla at her right hand, and the world trembled at her beauty and wroth!

And lo was the Angry Knife-Wielding Closet Gibbon so moved by the Vizsla's intercessory pleas as to make a "just this once" dispensation to his lemon pie commandment.
