But then I frequently just assume 'grand mal' when it frequently turns out not to be the case...
Oh, the embarrasment THAT's caused...

i hear the captain of serenity has induced several instances of thrashing, moaning, eyes rolling back in the head... (mostly among attractive women). these were affirmed as being "Grand Mal" episodes.

Thanks for the flying Pig, Py.
Just finished reading it. It's the first time I've read a play in text form, so I had a bit of trouble in the beginning separating where the dialogue ends and all.
I don't know where to begin. It's a quirky story about some quirky people. And some weird stuff happens. Involving pigs. It has that weird dream-like quality (you know, the one where you're not quite sure where everything is going) that's just irresistably charming.
The dialogue felt so very joss-ian, so it came as a surprise to learn that you wrote this before ever watching any of his shows. You know, you should try to write for one of his shows.
And of course, who among us haven't, at one point or another, said "God DAMN you, Richard Dean Anderson!" ;D
Great work. Would've loved to see it as a play. (If that does happen, Jonathon Woodward is so born to play SCG)

God, you're RIGHT! I'd never considered him for that part, yet it was clearly destined for him, wasn't it.
I always picture Emma Caulfield as Ruthie, myself. And James Marsters as James (despite the fact that the name is a COMPLETE coincidence)- Or maybe J. August Richards... Amy Acker as Sydney. Not sure about Lou....

I picture Meredith as Joyce's friend whose name I no longer remember from 'Dead Man's Party' You know, the one who kept talking about making Empinata's in Spanish class.

I love how right on top of that you were, Py. I really love your mind sometimes, in a completely heterosexual way, not that there's anything wrong with that.
I sent you "What's Your Sign?" this morning through Netscape and Outlook Express to the e-mail in your profile, q'cat. Let me know if it isn't getting there, 'cause I can send it snail mail as well.
