Still an important drill to practice Call me an optimist, I decided to vote for the gentle holding.

It does seem like more of a group activity.
What the hell was the name of the Spa that Garrity went to? It's been driving me crazy trying to remember.

Things were good. It was very intimidating but kind of fun. I met about 20 of the guys and remember maybe 2 or 3 names. It turned out to be bi-monthly truck check night or something along those lines. We were broken up into groups to do spot checks of all the equipment that should have been on the trucks. The station chief - who may as well be Lou from Rescue Me as he looks, talks and acts like him - told me not to worry about things and just follow along and try to get in the swing of things. He had me be in his group and the guys were actually very helpful in getting me kind of aclimated without feeling like I was completely overwhelmed. At one point the station chief (who I'm going to just call Lou, since I didn't manage to retain his actual name yet...) placed an open palmed hand on my shoulder. This will be significant to those of you following the wisdom of one Zach Addy on Bones.

I loved that exchange!
Incidentally, how hot have the promos for "Bones" been coming back from the break? It's almost like they're reaching out to viewers who aren't complete geeks to watch the show as well!
