Interesting theory. I can't accept it though since it would ruin the previous 5 books for me. You should check out this site (if anyone still hasn't read the book don't even read the URL of this link because it itself is a spoiler). My friends are all trying to come up with ways that Dumbledore can come back. Honestly I want him to stay dead. It is like Doyle or Joyce. Neithers death would have been as tragic if they just magically returned. That is how it has to be with Dumbledore for me. If all the talk they've thrown in about death just being the next great adventure and Dumbledore never truly being gone as long as people are loyal to him leads to him literally returning from the dead/never actually having died at all it is all pointless. I think book 7 is going to be largely about death. Every parental figure Harry has had aside from the Weasleys is now dead. The Death Eaters are regrouping. The prophecy stated either Harry or Voldemort has to kill the other. I think we're going to find out why with all the power there is in the wizarding world Harry has never been able to contact his parents or Sirius. Hopefully we will find out exactly what "Death Eater" means. I get the death part, but I'm still a little hazy on the eating of it.
As for Snape. I really think he could go either way here, but I'm fairly certain he's sure whichever side he's on. He's definitely not a Wormtail-type character who only sides with the strongest force, if he's good he's good and if he's evil he's evil.

I just finished reading the 6th Harry Potter book, I think it's probably the best so far although the 5th one comes pretty close. I recommend it to any Harry Potter fan, the book is wholly unexpected. I laughed, I cried, I put the book down in shock but I loved it! I too have read the book, although a week after it came out, (since I was out of town). I wouldn't call it the best so far. Found a lot of grammar errors in it,(not just in my book, but my friend's copy too), which was annoying. But the story is good. I've been a fan since before the movies came out. I actually got all teary right before the release of book 6 because it's almost over. I remember first reading the books. I really didn't "get" what all the hype was about Harry Potter. Then a friend of mine sent me the first copy to read. I stayed up for 3 days reading it. After the first, I had to read the second. Then the 3rd one. Then the fourth one came out, which was greater than the previous ones. Then the 5th one, and now this one. It's been a journey, reading the world of Harry Potter. So reminds me of 'Buffy'. The reasons I love the Harry Potter books is the same reason I love 'Buffy'. The story. The characters. The twists. Just one more book, then it's all over.

It was the third that did it for me. Lupin was such a great character and that twist with Black was really unexpected. Meh. I never really was interested much in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I love the movie version, but I really didn't quite enjoy the third book. My friend's the opposite of me, she loves the 3rd book, yet is annoyed with the 3rd movie. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,(book 4), is my favorite book so far. With book 2 coming in 2nd choice. In book 5 Harry was kind of annoying, with always complaining, and that sort of put a damper on the book. Even though it shocked me with Sirius' fate.

I want to believe that there was some sort of plan between Dumbledore and Snape. I want to believe that Dumbledore knew he was not long for this world and wanted to make his death useful. Giving Snape a foolproof way into Voldemort's confidences. I believe that too. Rowling has a habit of making something seem obvious when the opposite is actually true. I think she's doing the same thing here. Or, at least, I hope she is.
The whole part with Dumbledore pleading to Snape didn't feel right. It didn't seem like he was pleading for his life. More like Snape had second thoughts about having to kill Dumbledore and he needed a little push.
I have a feeling Snape will die in the next book, but fighting for the side of good. The wizarding world will still see him as Dumbledore's murderer, but Harry will find out the truth about Snape. I believe that too. I came up with this same solution too, right after completing the 6th book. I told my friend about it, and she just laughed and said that I'd find anyway to not make Snape evil.

The third movie sucked, most of the story was hacked up and switched around, everything was out of place and the students weren't even in costume, not to mention there are so many things missing.

You guys seriously have to stop letting me hang out with 14 and 15-year-olds. I should ask them for a copy of that conversation. We started out just discussing and Harry Potter and by the end, well, long story short I think we finally decided whether Ginny or Cho had larger breasts and the girls decided where exactly Daniel Radcliffe can stick his wand (note that that isn't an insult). No one will ever be able to invent a shower with the power to make me clean again after last night.

1 Kings is now complete. Very good read. 2 Kings is next.
"But your hearts must be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time" -1 Kings 8:61

I loved the cinematography. And the story was pretty much consistent with the book. Plus, it didn't look as childish as the first two.

Movie 3 was much better than 1 and 2. None were more than 6/10's though.

The characters didn't really grow or show much change in the third and half the scenes were short and not filled with as much dialog as there should have been. They totally skipped the fight between Hermione and Harry when Harry first got the Firebolt, and the ending sucked. Not to mention they they skipped a few minor things. It felt like it was missing something and it just wasn't very fufilling.

Very good read into the downfall of Israel, Juda, and Jeruselums sin against our Father. Very insightful.

I've been reading the Scriptures all day yesterday. Ever since 4am.
Just had a strange feeling of reading up on the Antichrist. Flipping back a forth through the book of Daniel and Revelation, as well as some other books. Quite intense studywork. ;D

It keeps me alive and going.

JK Rowling was probably high from smoking Angel season 4 scrips when she wrote that.
