I had a dream some years ago, two in fact, one that had me and Oz in a cinema watching an old black and white movie about trains - there were other characters there, including Angel (who spent the whole time in the bathroom),
and the other I was pushing Angelus around in a wheelchair around my area, and in a little island nearby I sometimes go on holiday to (and around my mother's old house), and yet again down to basements, anyway Willow was there in a supportive role in the latter one.
These were both a while ago, but...
Any ideas Dr?

Woohoo! I had a dream which involved Buffy or Angel the other night. I watched six episodes that day ("Underneath" - "Not Fade Away") so I guess it was in my head when I went to sleep. So, I dreamt that there was an Angel movie out in the cinema and I went to see it with some friends but about fifteen minutes from the end there was an intermission(??) and we had to go and stand outside for a while. To keep oursleves amused we devised this challenge to complete, I can't remember what this task involved exactly but it was blue-coloured. Anyway, I sort of took charge of this thing and I wanted to make sure it was done before we went back in. Then when I'm finished I look up and everyone's gone. They all went back in to watch the end of the film and I was missing it! All I saw was some of the characters standing around in front of a desk (much like a lot of season 5) then it was over. I tried asking my friends what had happened but they were unable to explain it, partly, I think, because they don't really know the show as well as I do. Then I woke up. Interesting, huh? Analyse away! ;D

For a moment I thought this thread said "Wet dreams you have had that involve........" Which brings me to my next point. Oh, come on, do you actually think that I'm perverted enough to write about that?

hehe, who hasn't had those kind of dreams? But for the sake of pg13 rating probably aughta stick to the weird ones not the wet ones. Oh and give me time, I'll have an interpretation all ready for you about your first dream in Angel dream land hehe.

Okay, it's almost 3 am and I just woke up from a very strange dream.
Normally I'd just go back to sleep but I figured I'd share it here before I forget it. Hopefully my thoughts are a little more than semi-coherent.
It was a strange variation on the "I'm being chased" dreams.
Only this time I was being chased by, well essentially a motorcycle gang - only with cars.
I'm in this really weird old shack like building. It has on of those attics where you pull down the stairs, and can pull them back up.
I'm there with a few people, I'm not sure who they were. I mean in my dream I knew them but in real life I don't.
So we're downstairs in, well it would be a living room if the place was actually a solid structure. I don't know what we are doing there.
It's all run down, the windows don't have glass - nor have they apparently seen glass in a very long time. There pieces of rundown furniture in the shack.
I'm guessing maybe we were staying there on a dare.
Anyway, a little ways down from there a huge group of people start driving up and going into some building.
I'm not sure why we think we have to hide from them but we do. As soon as these people drive up we begin pulling blankets and pillows up into the attic so we can hole up there undetected.
Then my dream gets murky. I know we get discovered somehow - but I don't actually remember how.
I decide I'm going to cause a deversion (sp?) so I sneak out of a window - in a black catsuit of all things. I kinda do some fancy acrobatics and run to one of the cars.
Then I steal the car, which of course gets them chasing me and lets whoever else was in the house escape.
Then the dream gets all murky again. I'm not sure what happens after that because it's fading. I know I got away - I think I wrecked the car on purpose.
Then it seemed like the dream shifted focus and there was some sort of arguement going on between two families or something.
I remember I eventually got back to the shack, and the people who were there before had came back as well.
Then I woke up and got the insane idea to tell you guys about it.
So, what's your analysis Feigy? It wasn't like my usual brand of "I'm being chased" dreams - it was really odd.

I'm fairly certain I wasn't a Ninja. I wasn't busting any martial arts moves or anything. I don't think I would have been hiding from anyone if I had been a Ninja.
Plus Ninja's aren't really wearing the catsuit you know. Think Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back and you'll see what I mean by catsuit. ;D

So, what's your analysis Feigy? It wasn't like my usual brand of "I'm being chased" dreams - it was really odd. [glow=purple,2,300]Well, it sounds to me that it was more the feeling of the 'chasing' dreams rather than the actual content. Because usually in chasing dreams the biggest portion involves relentless hunting and fear of being caught. Your dream really had a llot of stealth involved which says you are liley trying to avoid some problem in your life at the moment. "Sometimes avoidance in mosderation is healthy...just sayin'" chasing dreams often involve an insecurity on the part of the dreamer. Howevre, your dream has a twist in that you are trying to stay away from that which makes you insecure... however.... you then confront the whole situation by jumping in a car... so your mind is working out a solution on it's own to whatever fears you are having about the thing your subconscious is trying to work out.... Hope that interpretation didn't suck too bad ;D Oh and obviously you have fairly good self-esteem or else you wouldn't have created a stealthy persona for yourself during part of that dream.....that is all. ;D[/glow]

Your dream has a lot of content that implies anxiety about missing out on things. You felt out of touch with life and more specifically, Angel. Some of this may actually have to do with the uncertainty of the future of our beloved show.... but more importantly, an uncertainty about what life has to offer you. You fear that your own preoccupations might get in the way of finding out the things you care about in life. Mostly I would say that your dream is a direct reaction to the ending of Angel and that you feel jipped by this. Who doesn't by the way?...but my point is, you watched the final episodes of the show, which caused a reaction related to the unfinished and certainly unresolved issues within the show and within your own life. You were cut off before the end. You were robbed of closure and your mind is processing the unfairness of it all. Hope that helped...I think I may have engaged in a bit of transference (putting my feelings about the dream rather than yours) but I think you might agree with me on some of it. Mkay, done rambling now. Hope it was relevant[/glow]

These were both a while ago, but... Any ideas Dr? [glow=purple,2,300]It might interest you to know (if you didn't already) that the very first moving picture caught on film was that of a train moving toward the audience...I am not sure how relevant that is... but when reading the description of the dream, it seemed to give it significance. But, on with the interpretation.... It's a bit difficult to interpret these dreams as they have limited content in them... however, the movie dream seems to indicate the disconnect you feel when you experience things. Often you feel distracted when events unfold. You often see things as if they are apart from you in some way. As for the second dream...I think that this one is related to some type of integration between something you like, and what is going on in your life. That isn't to say your life includes pushing someone around in a wheelchair, though it might,...it just means that you are either attempting to guide a situation or person in your life and that this has been a fairly positive experience for you but not without its' obstacles. Without knowing your general emotions during the dream, I'd say your mind is trying to find a way to control a situation. You are trying to accomplish somethiing that has elluded you due to the lack of control you've had over it....all of this is tentative interpritation since I don't know the feelings that accompanied the dreams. For the funny.... you pretty much see Angel as an emotionaly disabled vampire who needs to be supported by those around him...okay, not exactly funny, but it is if you are dreaming about the Angel character with such insight....though if that's the case than you probably see yourself that way at times and can therefore relate to it on a subconscious level....okay that was reaching...but you know...[/glow]
