If you were logged in this whole time Daleus, your name wasn't showing on the list at the bottome. As for the porn thing, I was of course kidding about it. But sometimes in jest there is truth. And lets face it, the chances were good that I could have been right...you being male and the stats on how many look at porn and all. haha Disclaimer: I am of course not saying all males look at porn. In any case, I agree, floaty dreams can be fun. Though I've rarely had dreams of levitation so much as just the flying ones. But I suppose there were moments when I hovered in those dreams. I have trouble sleeping when it's quiet so, I tend to listen to books on tape to get to sleep. Given the books I read, this can often make for some strange dreams.

Levitation dreams are very common but really fun, I love those dreams. Mr Nasty, if you want to dream about BtVS OR AtS, you can try the lucid dreaming technique. Your local library probably has books on the subject, that;s where I read one. You think about what you want to dream as you're falling asleep, it takes practice, but apparently when you've reached the point before rem, you're still conscious enough to control your dream subjects. Or so the theory goes. It worked for me a few times. i've done that lucid dreaming technique thingie before but i didnt mean to. [glow=blue,2,300]Feigy[/glow], what can you tell me about dreams that come true, it always happens to me and its annoying. like a few weeks ago i dreamt i was at school in the gym and we where playing soccer and then a week later we played soccer and i everyone in my dream was standing where they were in the dream doing excactly what i dreamt.

Wow. Long thread. Missed out on a lot.
Flying dreams and dreams of being chased are very very common. The former, as Feighy Pants suggested, is to do with freedom, while the latter to do with anxiety.
No dreams on Buffy or Angel. I mostly lucid dreams nowadays so I have full control of my dreams. No nightmares for many years no. C69 - try confronting your chaser the next time you get chased, then tell us what you see.
Hopefully one day I will get an OBE, although some still consider it lucid dreaming.

I haven't had any dreams about being chased recently, that I can remember. I haven't been remembering my dreams lately.
I do know that there were a couple of times here recently that I was dreaming and thought "I need to remember this to bring up on the forum" but by the time I really woke up I forgot what I was dreaming about.
I'll try to face the person chasing me if it's possible for me to do so. Those dreams generally don't scare me though.
I'll probably have a variation of the back to school dream in the next couple of days since school starts back up for me on Monday.

Bah, I was going to try that lucid dreaming thing but just before I went to bed I saw a trailer for "The Village" and then all I could think about was the films of M Night Shyamalan. Then I had a dream where I was a James Bond kind of guy except I kept getting shot.

So watch a tape of Buffy or Angel just before you go to sleep, maybe that''ll work.

Then I had a dream where I was a James Bond kind of guy except I kept getting shot. You can do lucid dreaming in any dream. It does require a certain amount of mental control - so in this particular dream, you would 'control the bullet', or some other dream control related stuff. The problem with dreaming, is that while your dreaming, you don't know it. Lucid dreaming just usually means that you 'realise' it's a dream. Then you just need to remember that you realise it's a dream.

Sometimes I realise it's a dream but that's usually just before I wake up.
