Just got in from the doctor's office. I was there way longer than expected. Seems as though things are at a stand still and my doctor wanted to do a stress test on the little guy. He promptly fell asleep so the nurse had to come in and push around on my belly. This afternoon I have to go up to the hospital for another ultrasound to estimate his weight/measurements. If he is over 9 pounds then we will schedule a c-section for Monday if I don't go into labor before that. Py- good to hear that Harley is doing well. I love the 3 to 12 months age. So much going on in their little lives!!

Instead of scheduling a C-Section for Monday, how about next Wednesday? I so want to win the Baby Pool.

Sorry it won't be on Wednesday.
How does this Friday work for you? No one has exactly the 16th. So are we doing closest to without going over?
At the ultrasound the tech indicated that he is about 9 pounds. When my doctor saw the results she suggested the c-section almost immediately. I love her to death so I am completely comfortable with her opinion.
So tomorrow will be my last day of posting for quiet awhile. I don't have computer access at home and will more than likely not be able to get to the library for at least 3 weeks.

Good Luck! Get plenty of rest beforehand so you're not as wore out when the baby arrives.
Sleep deprivation sucks.

(agrees with all of the above)
See if you can get online at the hospital.
Sometimes, while you're in the 'hurry up and wait' stage, they can let you use a laptop or something.
Or maybe someone could get word to us that y'all are o.k.
Remember to spoil yourself during all this.
If nothing else,it will make an early and distinct impression on the little man that you are very special and worthy of his respect and adoration.
Rest, relax, recuperate,REJOICE and tell the staff at the hospital you're naming the kid 'Jayne'.
The ones who don't give you strange looks are safe to permit near the baby.

well i am finally online. the library has sign up times and is always full when i get an hour to myself. i am visiting my mom for the weekend and she has a computer. updates: Samuel Roar was born on 09/16/2005 weighing in at a hefty 10 pounds 2 ounces and 21.5 inches long. that is almost a pound more than they were estimating. he was delivered via c-section at 1:13pm that day. at his 3 week checkup he weighed in at 11 pounds!! he is certainly our big boy. also since being home i was able to catch the Firefly marathon and have COMPLETELY FALLEN IN LOVE with it. however i have not had time to see Serenity. i need a sitter, any takers?? hope everyone is doing well and how was vegas??
