I seem to remember before the update that when you clicked on the last updated topic it took you to the last page of that thread. Now it takes me to the first page of that thread. Is it because of the update or have I had too many brownies?

Sadly, it's all because of how V4 works - many have complained about this on the proboards support forum! But - because it's the latest reply on the forum, you can always look in the right-hand "last posts" column - it's bound to be there, and will take you to the last page of the thread, not the first.

Is it because of the update or have I had too many brownies? It's definitely not you. I noticed it as well and kept meaning to comment on it but then I'd get distracted by shiny things.
I can't imagine why they would consider that an upgrade. Seems to me that we can't be the only ones annoyed by it.

Yeah, it just took some massive behavior modification on my part to remember to do that. I'm feeling much better now.

Unfortunately, the guy who writes the proboards software tends to make things easier for admin and coders, and not forum users. Such is the way with these techy types!

We should give him poor marks, maybe then he'll fix it.

Good idea - but any complaints about such things over at the support forum are always met with the reply: "It's a free service - you should should be grateful for anything you get - stop moaning!"lol (The coder himself doesn't respond like that, but everyone else does)

*sigh*

In the case of proboards, the coder is the management! lol

Yo, ITL, I am having problems posting in Caritas 7, I dont have the Quick Reply Box, and I have no Reply or Quote Icon in that section? Did I do something wrong? Did I make fun of the Bored Diva too many times?

Caritas 7 was locked for some reason - so I unlocked it. You should be able to post there now.
