Is anyone else having a problem when they try to quote someone's post? Sometimes I'll get an error message saying I didn't include a message.
Is it just me?
Testing
Edit: seems to be working now. Thanks Feigy!
Testing Nick now that he not copy pasting....

Maybe there's an issue with your JavaScript settings in your browser or something like that?
I don't usually get quote errors though every once in awhile I'll click on the quote button and it'll quote the wrong post.
That hasn't happened in a long time though, but it's very annoying when it does.

Fortunately I don't usually post anything that involved so it's easy to remember and repost.

A chic of few words...I can both dig and respect that.

I can't quote this last one...
The thing is, it doesn't happen all the time.
One thing I noticed, though. It seems to occur when I'm quoting just when another person is posting. Not sure if there's any significance in that.

not sure if that's significant either...but I don't guess I have the ability to fix this problem...hopefully it isn't too annoying

Yeah, I've had a couple of quotage problems. Not sure what's causing it. Harumph.
BTW - I added a couple of codes - one that moves the contact icons above the sig (more aesthetically pleasing to me), and one that adds a "check messages" link to your mini-profile for PM checkage. It doesn't show new PM's or the ammount you have, though.

Not really a cry for help so much as a bug report ...
I know you've set it so that no one can see the posts unless someone logs in, but if you use the board's search function and do a query for everything , everything shows up. You don't even have to log on to do that.
Maybe that's how that guy got all our posts to KingJohn last time.

Hmmm. This is not a good thing - thanks for pointing out this problem, Nick.
I've posted on the support forum to ask for help, so we'll see what they say.
The problem is that if I set board access to "registered users" (which does sort out the search problem), the last post column shows as empty when logged out - as a result, the forum looks empty, and a member can't see at a glance what topics are active before logging in.
As a workaround, I set board access to "everyone", and use a code to force users to login to access the boards. But this way, the search function is useable when logged out.
So there doesn't seem to be a perfect solution, so far.
Harumph.
