What? Am I that non threatening? You're really asking that of the girl you met when she was torturing people in The Naughty Room while channeling Faith?
Faith is afraid of no man, nor am I. ;D

So, I never actually got around to reposting the beginnings of the Buffy Morals, did I.
Well, I'm all wrapped up with the Angel Morals, so I'd better get on that bad boy!

CUlling the first few from the thread on Buffy's TV Tome-
Season One's 'Welcome to the Hellmouth' (edited one hour first half of the two hour pilot as shown in syndication)
In which High School Senior Buffy Summers magically becomes High School SOphmore Buffy Summers merely by changing school districts. Along the way she meets new friends, who she immediately lands in life threatening danger merely by having casual conversations with them, gains and then immediately loses a friend in Cordelia, and comes face to face with the hard truth that a mystical birthright rarely comes with a return envelope.
The Moral of the story
(There are actually two to be found here)
1: When moving to a new area where no one knows you, it is PERFECTLY acceptable to lie about your age
and
2: When it comes right down to it, 'Seize the Moment' appears to just be bad advice.

Season One's 'The Harvest' (aka the second hour of the two hour pilot as it runs in syndication)
In which Buffy saves two out of three new friends, thus maintaining a statistical 67% average- A figure that remained more or less intact over the course of all seven seasons of the show
The Moral of the Story-
There's no point dwelling on the past, right? Therefore, should a lifelong friend unexpectedly be killed by vampires, you should immediately make a vow to never ever mention him again, even indirectly. Jesse? Jesse who?

Season One's 'Witch'
In which we meet the series first and longest lasting occasional psychotic, our beloved Amy who is going through an understandably difficult time, due to some serious overparenting.
The Moral of the Story-
Once your Mother tries to control your diet, take over your body, ruin your social life, and banish your soul to the mystical darkness for all eternity, you are no longer obligated to spend any time with her.

Season One's 'Teacher's Pet'
In which Xander falls head over heels for the Virgin Eatin' Bug lady, and Giles spends some quality time in the audio files.
The Moral of the Story-
While it's all well and good to have a little crush on a teacher, you probably want to draw the line somewhere before stopping by their place for cocktails. Nothing good's going to come of that.
Oh, and do your homework.

Season One's 'Never Kill a Boy on the First Date'
In which Buffy learns some hard lessons about balancing work and a social life, Giles learns some hard lessons about trying to slay without a slayer handy, and Owen completely misses some hard lessons about not getting your big stupid head knocked in by forces you don't understand.
Not that he isn't attractive.
The Moral of the Story-
You might want to keep your eyes open to different possibilities. If, for example, you miss the possibility that there are in fact four other candidates for annointed one then you're going to end up stuck with some irritating little turd and it's going to take you at least nine episodes before anybody gets around to smoking the tiny tyrant.
And it was SO avoidable, people.

Season One's 'The Pack'
In which Xander gets possesed by the zeitgeist that is mean kids, and ends up eating a pig.
The Moral of the Story-
Dodgeball is a tool of evil. But a reasonably funny movie. The OCHO!

Season One's 'Angel'
In which Buffy finds out the truth about Angel AND gets to see him with his shirt off, Darla gets Saucy, then Violent, then Vaporized (in that order), and Joyce makes (and then becomes) a snack.
The Moral of the Story-
It's probably a good policy to get some background info BEFORE you invite strange men to sleep in your room. I'm just saying.
