Michael Moore and Joss Whedon ;D I'd watch anything they collaborated on! Censorship of tv shows, Nielsen Ratings boxes, the clueless Emmy awards system. Those are just a few documentary subjects I would like to see their take on. As for fiction, maybe they could do a futuristic type show about what happened if not only George Bush got re-elected in Nov. 2004, but also, if his great-great-great-grandson carried on the ''legacy'' Scarryyy!!!!

Oh now THAT would combine horror and comedy in a most disturbing way.

Maybe there could even be fanfic about what kind of strange things they'd come up with. And you could write it (with all your free time having a new job every month or so) I look forward to reading it in the Basement, or in "What's Next for the Jossverse"

I just saw the latest posts in Caritas 2 [tvtome] C69 I feel your pain I was in a car accident 12 yrs. ago and I still have a protruding disc that goes out every so often, I take valium for it, my doctor started me out on flexeril, but that stuff just didn't help. I know how incoherent muscle relaxers can make you. That said, I must say that I laughed my a** off over the ''screwed up the guys nuggets'' line ;D

Correction : I saw the nuggets post in Angel main thread, but I also visited Caritas 2, congrats C69 on the 1000 posts. Just because it took ''forever'' to reach that goal[?] doesn't mean you can't wear the geek crown, b'man don't know what he's talkin bout.

Awww, I'm just pokin' fun at the sweetie, I'm happy happy for her.
How do you get to be registered 'forever' anyway?

Someone explained that once. It has to do with the old board and the new board. If you were registered on the old board -- even if only for like a month -- you showed up on the new board as having been registered forever. New Act 2 in the "Gin" thread, y'all.

If that's the case then I should've been registered 'forever'. Ugh, oh how horrible the old boards were! And to think, I was upset when it all turned into forum format! ;D

[glow=purple,2,300]Okay, I'm not sure how to take that. I think it's the venue. If I was to actually hear you say that than I'd probably be cool with it. I may just write some stuff in there during my "vacation" before I start my NEW job. haha I just saw Michael Moore on Real Time with Bill Mahr. I love that show. The whole thing was rather freaky though. They begged Ralph Nader not to run for president. hehe Okay, sorry bout the yappin about politics it was just really interesting and I think all concerned people should at least be aware. They also had this blonde Canadian chic on there and she made lots of sense. I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't move to Canada. Meh, just ignore me, I'm having a moment lol.[/glow]

Dear Doctor: I was hoping the smileys would convey the, er, lightness in the spirit of the comment. Sorry for any confusion. ;D

Dr. Feigy I caught that Bill Maher episode too. I loved it when M.M and Bill got on their knees and begged Ralph not to run, great television moment. The blonde Canadian chick used to be their Prime Minister or something like that. Did you notice that when Bill did his closing monologue [or is that prologue?] the Republican guy had left the stage at some point, I guess he was offended by Mr. Maher's swearing and opinions. Michael and that lady stuck around though.

Kim Campbell? I love Kim Campbell. The Canadians should put her in charge again. She's hot! ... can't not think about Monty Python "Political Groupies" sketch ... ;D Dear Doctor: There was an even older board, before we both registered. b'man has access to it and has linked us to it in the past to let us see what it looked like. It was pathetic, lol!

Thanks RTB , I'm glad someone found my inability to count nuggets amusing
I did better today, they had me in drive thru taking orders all day. I didn't get fired so I guess I can still count money Being in the hole (which is what we call the first window in drive thru) seemed to help. I wasn't in as much pain today towards the end of my shift.
As far as how you get the forever status, I'm not really sure. I did register back when they had the old forums. It was towards the end of Season Five of Buffy if I recall right. I mostly lurked then though I chimed in occasionally when someone couldn't understand why when Buffy died the second time it didn't call another Slayer, and in the debate over whether or not Spike attempted to rape Buffy in Seeing Red.
After that I wanted to stay away from spoilers so I didn't visit TV Tome again until this spring, when I fell in love with you guys on the Angel Forum

I believe the forever status applies to anyone registered at TV Tome before December of one year...2002, maybe?
