I confused DoctorFeigyPants and Bango in a post up there, but I don't know how to fix it, because Bango has been around a lot longer than me, so go by his figures. The cutoff must, obviously, be earlier than March 2003. Sorry for my confusion.

Okay, I watched "Real Time with Bill Mahr" again last night. I love that show. He brought up an interesting point about the reason many Americans are fat in this country. It's all about the corn. lol Okay, I think there is something to this. When you are flat broke and you need to eat, many of the things affordable to make or buy is no good for us. I have often wondered why the stuff that's good for you has to be so darned expensive. Obviously it's not just the fault of the food, it's the lack of excercise we get as well. Even now I sit here in front of my computer gaining more pounds because I don't eat enough good foods, and...well, I'm sitting here instead of walking or doing some kind of activity. So, why did I bring this up? It's just been on my mind and well, I needed to express myself as we all do around here. I think I should learn how to grow things. I doubt I ever will. But maybe a vegetable garden isn't such a bad idea. Drink more water!

There's a really good reason why corn based products are so cheap, politicains helped out a lot of large agricultural firms, tax break wise as well as funding subsideries. Those firms over the decades have made the independent farm family a thing of the past. You should check out the book ''Fast Food Nation'' by Eric Schlosser, you'd be amazed at how our [Americans] eating habits have been manipulated by big businesses and politicains. I just realized something, I'm starting to sound like the liberal version of Oprah Winfrey, suggesting people read this book or that magazine article, if it bothers anyone just let me know, I'll stop, promise ;D

Off-Topic Topic Dawn's age I was just perusing the liner notes of my OMWF soundtrack cd, and lo and behold I came across proof that by season 7 Dawn was supposed to be 16, and therefore a little too old to be a high school freshman. Now I know this is an old argument but I didn't get the chance to finish putting in my two cents worth in the thread for this topic over at tvtome so here goes From ''What You Feel'' Sweet : And you will be my queen 'Cause I know what you feel, girl Dawn :no you see you and me wouldn't be very regal Sweet :And I make it real girl Dawn : What I mean I'm fifteen so this ''queen'' thing's illegal So if she was 15 in season six, then she should have already been in high school, but in the opening scene of the first episode of season 7, after Buffy gets through giving Dawn some slaying practice, Buffy tells Dawn that the real challenge will be facing the very first day of high school, not the very first day at a NEW high school. So, even a regular viewer like myself had good reason to be confused, it wasn't just casual viewers who didn't know enough about the show.

Maybe she was held back a year. From what we've seen, she's no A student.

It would have been so incredibly cool if they had been the band in The Prancing Pony. Maybe doing Over The Hills And Far Away.
But that's just me.

When is TV Tome not acting up for somebody? Thank God for this place. And no, that's NOT an invitation for religious debate.

Did anyone see the latest ep. of Six Feet Under ? Michelle Trachtenberg has been guest starring on there. She's playing a Britney/Christina-esque diva. She seduced her bodyguard and then fired him the next day, I guess little Dawnie's all growed up now.

So, is it just Texas or what? I mean I was just watching "Hellbound" today and Fred couldn't say "Nuclear" correctly either. I mean Amy IS supposed to be from Texas too right? So is it Texas?
I know I know, I was severly ON topic. sorry about that.

Just like that time at that Republican speech, I think your pronunciation just made my logical side implode. I have a sudden urge to sing a Boy Band song. Help!
