I think singing a boy band song is one of the official HTH forum no-nos. If it isn't it should be ;D

Hi Dr. Feigy, I just read your comments in the Angel main thread at tvtome, I agree that JM is looking at things from a different perspective. Some actors in his age range, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, are not any better at acting than James. IMO he's better than they are but doesn't make the A-list, talent is necessary, but being in the right place at the right time also goes a long way. James is now directing and starring in a MacBeth pic, it's an Indie obviously, my favorite movies. Box office blockbusters are usually a big disappointment and overrated. In Hollyweird youth is a hot commodity, sucks but true. James just might surprise everyone and finally get A or B list acclaim, it's happened before with actors from popular tv shows. Even great shows that didn't score big enough in the ratings game. To everyone else knocking Sarah and David, give 'em a break! I don't bear SMG or DB any hard feelings if they want to leave their Whedonverse characters behind. Look at Jennifer Garner for example, Alias is both a hit with critics and fans. And was a ratings success, she won a Golden Globe, got lots of movie parts, but does anyone here [hth or tvtome] think she's a far better actress than SMG? The years Sarah spent giving ''Buffy'' her best effort may have possibly hurt her big screen career chances in the long run. Fan loyalty is great and syndicated longevity is a wonderful testament to an actors talent but it doesn't pay the rent forever, and it doesn't allow an actor to expand their horizons.

I am entirely unaware of this phenomenon (wow, that looks misspelled). * fusses with an online dictionary *No, I got it right: t-h-a-t. Maybe I wandered away and wandered back. No idea, sorry.
