I'm going to be making a few colour sets (skins) for the forum - so if anyone has any good ideas for sets, post them here. Remember that everyone's various username and text colours will need to be visible against the background - so darker colour sets are preferable.
Also - I need to recalibrate my videocard's colour settings, as it's settings are frankly a mess. So if you could describe to me what colours the forum has on your monitor, and whether the shades are dark or light, I'd be most grateful.
Then I can recalibrate and I'll know the skins will be the right shades! lol

I thought my monitor was going wonky for a minute there.
It seems a lot brighter than it was.

I'm seeing a sort of grayed teal background.
What do they call that? Loden?
It sort of matches my sister's eyes.
Not a bad color at all but the pale blue kind of disappears and it's not what I've gotten used to.
But everything you do is beautiful,ITL.
Just tweak till you have it the way you want it.
(So long as you don't choose pale yellow on white or charcoal on aubergine etc.)
It will be interesting watching a website undergo the equivalent of trying things on in a changing room.
"Does this font make my links look fat?"

The pale blue disappears? Not sure what you mean!

The Colors!!
Wow...they look a little disconcerting.
But I will get used to them.

I think I liked the contrasts better with the original colors. The text showed up better.

I'm just trying a few things out - I'll put the colours back as they were, and make some selectable skins woth other color sets.

I don't really care about the forum colours, they don't bother me. But I can tell you this, just about anything goes with black which is why I love the color.

The colors look pretty good.
Would giving the text of the section names color look good? Like "Caritas", "Algonquin" etc on the front page a more stand out color be good? Something like either a bright red or darker redish color to make them stand out from the darker shade colors look good.

Red doesn't stand oout too well against dark colours, really. The current light blue shade stands out pretty well, I think.

Cool.
The blue was nice looking, just a bit hard to read.
Or maybe I'm just going blind...for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
