Tonight's episode I think was about change.
I am glad we found out was the real reason Luke was afraid to have Lorelai and April forge a relationship. I never understood why Luke would keep April and Lorelai away from each other, but now it makes sense. He was just afriad that Lorelai would get closer to April than he would be, which is kind of childish, but I do get Luke's point. He is not a kid person, and Lorelai is. I was glad to see Luke to get over his fear, and call Lor, when he needed her help with April's birthday party. Now maybe they could move forward towards marriage. I see Luke's opinion of keeping Lorelai and April apart from each other changing during this episode, unfortunately April and Lorelai won't be spending time with each other again, soon. Although, I think if Luke and Anna had a boy instead of a girl, I don't think Luke would have a problem with Lorelai spending time with his "boy".
I know people will be angry for Anna for being mad a Luke for asking Lorelai to the party, but I see her point. She is just trying to protect her daughter from getting hurt because of getting to close to whomever Luke is dating, and they break up, and April is heartbroken. I'm glad Lorelai understands, and maybe today's events will push the wedding plans up.
And now it comes to Logan and Rory. I am glad that Logan is all right, and he will live. He just needs to sometimes to heal, you can see that they both love each other. But, dang I was proud of Rory when she went off on Mitchum about not coming to hospital to check on Logan, he was a coward for not doing so, and Rory would be the only one who would tell him so. I wonder if Mitchum has a new respect for Rory because she told him off. Maybe Mitchum's opinion of Rory has changed because of it.
