But ... I need to know when.
I've got a ... thing scheduled.
No reason.

Yeah, that would be awesome, but that may ruin our plans for Vegas.

SciFi is going to show "Firefly" this fall?
Oh ... the episodes FOX barely aired, you mean?
Well ... maybe they'll pick it up for some new ones? Or has Joss gone gadfly on us and wouldn't consider renewing that project?
I suppose it depends on how much Hamilton wants to be The Hero of Canton vs. Agent Love.
They killed Zoe off long ago on "Alias." Alan's a big movie star but I'm sure he could tear himself away ...
Sadly, "Wonderfalls" isn't taking up too much of Kaylie's time, either.

Sadly, "Wonderfalls" isn't taking up too much of Kaylie's time, either. Someone on one of the Firefly forums - I can't remember which one, too many forums lately - said that Joss has some sort of contract with Universal that prevents him from putting Firefly back on television for a certain number of years.
I don't know that it would be true though. It would suck if it is.

* prays that that number is very, very small *
I can't believe Joss signs anything handed to him by a television executive anymore.

I can't believe Joss signs anything handed to him by a television executive anymore. The Universal deal would mean it's a Movie executive, though that's not much better.
I just hope the rumor isn't true.

Is 5 to 10 years a small number? No.
No it's not.
It's an angry-makingly large number.
Ron Glass is not a young man.

Joss is just clever/perverse/worthy-of-veneration enough to do an end run around any such contract.
For instance,he could 'infringe' on his own intellectual property.
We know that Prisoner #6 is Danger Man.
We know that the 'Lee" Peter David wrote about is really Linda (the heroine formerly known as earthAngel/Supergirl) Danvers.
Joss could bring out a new series with eerily familiar characters played by some awfully familiar faces....
Of course,I'd enjoy that best if Kaylie brought home a brooding guy in leather, a trio of soulful Brits, an emerald lounge lizard,a titian haired sorceress carrying a pie,Daphne from Scooby-doo and the male ingenue from that movie where Bruce Campbell makes it with the transvestite cop....
but I'd settle for Fillon,Glass,Staite,et al....
