How much longer do you have to wait? Hopefully not long.
I have 3 hours and 32 minutes left. ;D

Only one hour and 5 minutes until I see Serenity! ;D
Celeste is on her way here. I so can't wait. Looks like Homcoming is keeping everyone in Farmington away from the theater today though. When I went to pick up the tickets the place was dead and none of the shows have sold out.
I mailed tj my extra Serenity comic with the Kaylee cover today. He should get it next week sometime, I didn't send it rush delivery or anything. He's getting a free comic so he can't complain. ;D

Just got done seeing it twice and I loved it! ;D
Can't wait to see what everyone else thought of it. I hope the other theaters had more people because mine sure didn't. We had about 20 people at the 6:30 showing and 13 people at the 9:30 show.
I think the theater expected a higher attendance because they put it in the larger theater.
I'm not sure what I expected out of this town though. They never seem to understand anything that's actually intelligent.
I was surprised at the low attendance considering we were missing a few people that I know are huge Firefly fans so they should have been there.
They may have gone to St. Louis though to see it in a better theater. I'm pretty sure that Homecoming wouldn't stop them from seeing this movie.

I've seen the movie and it was AWESOME!!
I went and saw it on the biggest movie screen in OK and over 150 speakers with seats for over 300 pple...(no it didn't fill up, but it was a pretty darn good turnout)
I wore a brown coat and everything ;D I was so nerdy I was tempted to break out the masking tape for my glasses just as a capoff.
Joss did not let us down ;D As usual, of course, we want to kill Joss at the same time we want to drool over his greatness.
No spoilers here tho.. I hope you foreigners get to see it really really soon!! ;D

I'm so glad to hear you had a high turnout in your city. I'm hoping everyone else reports the same thing.
I hate going to a crowded theater but I was really hoping to be able to hang out with my fellow Browncoats and possibly even sing the Firefly theme song before the movie.
You will laugh, cry, and be amazed all at the same time when you see this. It really is an emotional roller coaster ride, which really isn't surprising considering the source. ;D
I so can't wait until everyone has see it so we can really discuss it. Now I can read the rest of my Serenity: The Official Visual Companion book. I want to read the screenplay complete with deleted scenes.

Well, it just came out Friday the 30th so you got a little while before it leaves the theatres to go see it.
You will like it a lot I believe. If you ever loved "Buffy" or "Angel" for their witty banter, than you'll love the stuffin out of this movie.
But when you go see it remember that a small portion of the the dialog is spoken in Chinese. That's just an FYI so that when you hear it, you don't go "What'd he say?" to the person next to you. I heard some people saying that and I couldn't help but laugh.
Great movie! Go see it!

FYI, overnight data shows that Serenity took 3.9M on the opening night, which puts it into 2nd place behind "Flightplan". It beat out "Corpse Bride" and "Into The Blue", however.

That's awesome news! I was getting worried because my theater didn't have very many people watching the movie - but then this town doesn't always go for the smart stuff.
Which if funny because people here think they are better than everyone from the neighboring towns.
I hope we keep the momentum going. ;D

I'll bet this is one of those movies that grows by word of mouth. Next week's numbers will probably be better that this weeks.
I haven't seen it yet. Probably this afternoon.
