I dont' know what blue tooth is. I mean like a chip or something that will conect without a cord. Are there like requirements? Over here they call it Blue Tooth, maybe you have a different name for it.
We have blue tooth here as well, it's just not quite as wide spread for internet access. WiFi is more popular.
Reb, you'll have to check and see if your school allows WiFi access before you go and get a card. Some schools have it and others don't. It won't do you any good to buy the card if your school doesn't have it yet.
You should be able to go to computer services and ask about it. They can help you figure out what you need to buy as well. The cards aren't too expensive, but it depends on what your getting. There's many different flavors of WiFi. You might want to do some research into the topic before you buy anything to make sure you get the best deal.

I will definetly do so. Thank You
I know they have a computer room but I am not sure of a designed place for this to do that. I thought DSL was wireless? Or it may also need as you mentioned to work.

DSL isn't wireless exactly. You can attach wireless routers or access points to a DSL connection and have wireless access with DSL but the actual connection is with cables.
My school had designated areas for WiFi access so all you needed was a WiFi card in your laptop in order to use the service. You also needed a username and password to be able to log on.
Your school should have some sort of technical services that can answer these questions for you. You generally need permission to use the service it it's available. They don't want to let just anyone use their bandwidth.

Hello all! Where is everyone?
They ran away and joined the circus? I'm not too sure, maybe they got a life?
Myself, I was off finishing Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets. Now I'm upset because the library isn't open right now so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to read the next book.
At least after that one I'll be back into my son's copies. He's only missing books 2 & 3. His Grandpa insists that he bought them for him.
My son just told me that his Step-Grandma was bragging about getting the latest book, she thought he didn't have it yet. He was pleased to inform her that he had gotten it several days before she did. His is also a first edition - hers isn't. His Grandpa told him that it doesn't matter if they're first editions or not because they won't go up in value until after he's too old to care.
I also spent a large portion of the evening looking for my Sims game. I still can't find it. I found the case, and the box it came in but the game is MIA.
My son loaned me his copy for the PSII. I'd rather play my game since I can download cool stuff to put in my house online - I really only like building and decorating the houses with the cool stuff. I get bored playing with the Sims.
It is cool making them look like Spike or Buffy though. I'm not sure if you can do that on the PSII version. I guess I'll find out when I start playing.

Cool. After work, I went to Fabulous Footwear and bought a new pair of Sneakers, my old set is worn out, and a set of Golf Shoes. The I went to D*ck's Sports and bought a new putter and a set of clubs. This is all in preparation for the week vacation at Rehoboth Beach, which I will be starting Sunday.

You probably would do that anyways.
So you don't buy stuff for your son?

Oh yeah...I think we may have chosen the wrong gambling city for out Serenity screening. On September 29th, The Killers are going to be preforming in Atlantic City. Why couldn't they be in Vegas instead of AC.

Not if he's in trouble. I did take him out for dinner today though. We would have gone to the movies as well but he's got the house trashed again. I'm making him clean up his messes.
I refuse to clean up after other people outside of work.
I'm actually pretty good about buying stuff for other people. I sometimes see something that absolutely must go to someone I know so if I have the money I'll usually get it for them.
It's usually something small - like my sisters loves The Powerpuff Girls so if I see something cool I'll buy it for her. I once bought her a retro sticker from The Goonies movie. She loves that movie.
When we had the Dog and Cat happy meals I got a friend of mine the stuffed Bernese Mountain Dog because he wants one but can't have one in his apartment. So now he has one of his very own. It was less than $2.00 but it made his day. ;D

No way! I thought they were going to be in New York that weekend? We so should have picked Atlantic City. I really wish I would have went and seen them when I had the chance in St. Louis. I'm still kicking myself for that one.
