oooooooooohhh. Am I awful for wanting a Jon Stewart/Al Franken ticket in '08? The photos alone ...
I'm thinking J.Biden/H.Clinton.
I'm just spitballing, but I'd vote for it.
Hell, I'd vote for a Nick/tickie ticket and that'd be a freeqin' disaster.
I would rather have a Biden/Rendell ticket because I met Rendell and he is a very nice man, and he actually made Philadelphia a livable place to be when he was mayor of Philly. And Biden is the Senator from my state, and I like him.

I'd also accept Edwards someplace on a ticket.
Hell ... let's just elect Oprah. She's in charge already anyway.

When will The Daily Show Reair? 1/12c
And I'd love to see you in a debate, tickie. You'd make Cheney look like a vampire.
Well, nature kinda gave you a head start there.
Actually, you'd have to run top of the ticket 'cuz Nick, um, can't actually run.
[yoda] Better than this yutz you'd be.[/yoda]

Nick has never nearly caused a nuclear war.

that would work!
She's intelligent, affable, knows how to relate to all kinds of people.
Her life's already an open book and it would totally throw the PTB if her 'First Lady' was best friend Gayle.
Too bad Fred Rogers or Bob Keeshan aren't available to be her running mates.
25 years or more of comfortable common sense might have had appeal for the voters.

Well Steadman is a smart man.
I would vote Oprah in a heartbeat, even if I was running against her.

My fellow Americans ...
Well, that's not strictly true, since I'm neither American or your fellow. But that's besides the point.
The point is that you should vote for me. Unlike your average politician who lie, we actually come out and admit that we have no idea what we're doing. And hey, it worked for people in the past, I don't see why it shouldn't for us. At least we're honest about it.
If we're elected, we promise you nothing. Nada. Zilch. A bag full of nothing. This is because we recognize that most people are idiots anyway, and don't really listen. Why bother making promises that people might hold you accountable for when no one's really listening in the first place.
If we're elected, we promise to never make any appearances or support causes. Instead, we'll hire good looking people to pose as us for magazine shots. We realize the shallowness of the world and that being pretty goes a long way. Besides, If you wanted to see ugly people in power, you'd voted for yourself.
If we're elected, we promise to start thg "War on Reality TV" First to be executed will be the Hilton brat. We will hunt down every last one responsible for these excrements and we're not shy with our nukes to prove our point. We will lauch a preemptive strike on Fox, and the Numpties at the WB. We will elect Joss Whedon as the Minister of Education.
Vote Nick/Tickie '08.

Time for a song. Bono dedicated this song to the people of Africa during their tour, and their plight, I feel that this song would be appropiate for the people of New Orleans, and the entire Gulf Region.
*Puts on the Bono Wig and Glasses for one-time appearance.*
One
One lyrics Is it getting better Or do you feel the same Will it make it easier on you now You got someone to blame You say...
One love One life When it's one need In the night One love We get to share it Leaves you baby if you Don't care for it
Did I disappoint you Or leave a bad taste in your mouth You act like you never had love And you want me to go without Well it's...
Too late Tonight To drag the past out into the light We're one, but we're not the same We get to Carry each other Carry each other One...
Have you come here for forgiveness Have you come to raise the dead Have you come here to play Jesus To the lepers in your head
Did I ask too much More than a lot You gave me nothing Now it's all I got We're one But we're not the same Well we Hurt each other Then we do it again You say Love is a temple Love a higher law Love is a temple Love the higher law You ask me to enter But then you make me crawl And I can't be holding on To what you got When all you got is hurt
One love One blood One life You got to do what you should One life With each other Sisters Brothers One life But we're not the same We get to Carry each other Carry each other
One...life
One
And then now I will be reenacting Bono's Super Bowl XXXVI halftime preformance at New Orleans by singing "Beautiful Day" and "Where the Streets Have No Name."
The heart is a bloom, shoots up through stony ground But there's no room, no space to rent in this town You're out of luck and the reason that you had to care, The traffic is stuck and you're not moving anywhere. You thought you’d found a friend to take you out of this place Someone you could lend a hand in return for grace
It's a beautiful day, the sky falls And you feel like it's a beautiful day It’s a beautiful day Don’t let it get away
You’re on the road but you’ve got no destination You’re in the mud, in the maze of her imagination You love this town even if it doesn’t ring true You’ve been all over and it’s been all over you
It's a beautiful day Don’t let it get away It's a beautiful day Don’t let it get away
Touch me, take me to that other place Teach me, I know I’m not a hopeless case
See the world in green and blue See China right in front of you See the canyons broken by cloud See the tuna fleets clearing the sea out See the bedouin fires at night See the oil fields at first light See the bird with a leaf in her mouth After the flood all the colours came out It was a beautiful day A beautiful day Don’t let it get away
Touch me, take me to that other place Reach me, I know Iím not a hopeless case
What you don’t have you don’t need it now What you don’t know you can feel it somehow What you don’t have you don’t need it now You don’t need it now, you don’t need it now Beautiful day And
I wanna run, I want to hide I wanna tear down the walls That hold me inside. I wanna reach out And touch the flame Where the streets have no name.
I wanna feel sunlight on my face. I see the dust-cloud Disappear without a trace. I wanna take shelter From the poison rain Where the streets have no name Where the streets have no name Where the streets have no name.
We're still building and burning down love Burning down love. And when I go there I go there with you (It's all I can do).
The city's a flood, and our love turns to rust. We're beaten and blown by the wind Trampled in dust. I'll show you a place High on a desert plain Where the streets have no name Where the streets have no name Where the streets have no name.
We're still building and burning down love Burning down love. And when I go there I go there with you (It's all I can do).
