sorry for not responding Cordy... was a bit tied up at the time.... But things are good round here. It's getting to be crunch time though. I have one more weekend of packing and cleaning before I move. Yay! But don't worry, I won't be missing in action round here too long.
Oh and if I might make a suggestion for music to listen to this X-mas season....."The Trans-Siberian Orchestra" I heard them the other day and they were bloody brilliant!

That's okay Feigy. I ended up getting busy right around that time anyway.
I noticed the guy sitting next to me in the lab was having trouble with his homework. He's in my night class so I asked it he needed any help.
He was building a database, well he was actually sitting there staring at the monitor. He had no clue how to even start.
So I helped him out before I had to go to class. I have no idea if he'll get it all done before tomorrow morning, but at least he now has all his tables so he at least has something to turn in. ;D
Glad to know you won't be disappearing for long Feigy.
Well, I have to go back to class now. I'll see anyone who's till awake around midnight when I get home.

I was going to print out my 30 page script for my class.
The thing got done 10 pages, and then bam! the priter decided to act evil, stop worrking. It is not working at all.
Now I can't even turn it on.
Luckily, I have a computer lab on campus. So tomorrow I will be going to the lab to print it out, and edit it.

TSO so totally rocks. I have one of their CDs and we crank it up at our house. They just played a concert in Madison last weekend.
Blind Boys of Alabama- I caught a piece on them on 60 Minutes? Very interesting story. I will have to check them out.

S'ok Py I knew almost as I was writing it, that I'd probably miss you. I had this sneaking feeling you'd log off before noticing I'd even posted.....
Thanks for responding to my suggestion about TSO guys. I was beginning to wonder if it had just slipped through the conversation.....
Anywho, this whole moving thing is really hard work when you have to work 8 hrs 5 days a week. Man, I wish I could have scheduled it for when my time at the hopital was over. So, guess who will be cramming boxes and cleaning all weekend? Well, duh...me...well that game sucked LOL
I am soo far behind on the algunquin thingy, I don't know if I'll ever get round to critiquing all the good stuff I've barely glanced at.
I can't wait until I'm settled in though. This whole transition phase sucks balls. It's hard to get into the holidays, when all your decorations are packed away. (Or in my case, waiting to be packed away lol.
I guess I'll have to continue to content myself with singing Christmas songs in the smoke break area at work.
So I guess it's been slow in here today? Ah well, what can ya do? Take a nap, eat a cheesecake (not necessarily in that order) ;D ;D

I was looking at the local sale papers the other day and saw that group's cd listed at a very low price. I really thought about getting it.

Would I sound stupid or too geeky to say that I'm almost willing to go out and buy the Sims 2 game and make it the Buffyverse theme?
It seems to be what Buffy/Angel fans are doing...making little Buffy/Angel characters into Sims and I wanna too! ;D

Wow, you guys sure got all quiet and stuff.
I was afraid I was missing out on all sorts of cool stuff.
Boy was I wrong. ;D
I was in group project hell after I got off work today.
I had to make the 80 mile drive to Cape to meet with my group. That was pretty much a waste of my time, but it should help me look good for the grade.
I stayed up till 3:00 a.m. working on the formatting for the reports in our project.
I was still formatting in my sleep last night ... er this morning. It's pretty sad when my homework has invaded my dreams.
And, our project was supposed to be finished today so we could make our executable cd.
Well it's not.
The problem is we were all working on seperate files, so even though we technically have everything done, it's not in the same database.
And Judy has seriously pissed me off. Okay, so I working my @ss off formatting the reports. So, does she use my version of the database to do her next part?
NO, she uses her old version to add her new stuff.
And she'll probably not add my formatted reports into the database before she does the coding she's doing tonight.
I was supposed to work in the morning. Judy told me that she would have her stuff done by 3 or 4 a.m. and wanted to know what time I would redo the formatting.
I'm like, well I have to work in the morning then I have to drive to school and give a group presentation so it'll be 2:30 before I can do it.
She's like, well we have to show it to Dr. Wen before then.
So I'm like, well I guess I can see if they can find someone to replace me at work tomorrow, even though I really need the hours.
And she's like, well we really need you to get this done.
So, luckily I was able to get out of work. Now I'll have to get up really early in the morning so I can work on the formatting before I drive to school.
And to top off my day, when I got home my DSL connection was down and my antivirus software was recommending I scan my computer. It said I had 5000 viruses, which all seemed to be different versions of some trojan horse.
I'm hoping I got that problem fixed. This is really not a good time for my computer to go down.
