I just found out Jewel and I have the same shoe size! (We take a size 41 trainer). That girl looks as if her whole body could fit in a size 41. (kinda Cordy sized) I could see us sharing a size back when I was a 6 or a 7.5 B American. But a European 41? I guess her feet swell when she gets busy saving the world, too. European lasts are a LOT sturdier, more comfortable and better fitting for aberrant feet. (like narrow heels, wide tops, flat arches, hairy insteps, etc.) Fashionably high arched and pointy-toed shoes just don't make it if you stand or run around all day. (I don't care what the superheroines and spys wear.) So it was nice to see that Kaylee wore cute and practical footwear but who'd have guessed you could have found the same fit in my horse shop markdowns? Zoe's boots are an American 8 but she comes across as a taller, more Amazonian woman who'd use military orthotics to keep her feet sound. I wonder where Inara fits in?

Hey, Cor, I hope you feel better.
Thanks Kev.
I feel less bad today, but I'm still dragging. I'm so glad I didn't have to work. I managed to get the plumbing fixed - or at least I hope it's fixed. There was a bad clog in the drain and it was pushing water back through the pipes and out near the washer and dryer underneath the house since it couldn't go forward.
It's a wet, smelly mess underneath the house. The plumber really doesn't like crawl spaces, - especially wet, smelly crawl spaces - so he wasn't too keen on crawling all the way to the back corner of my house to see if the pipes needed fixing back there.
I do know that the water goes where it's supposed to when you flush the toilet now so at least that part works. But if the pipes broke near the washing machine then water will still get under the house when I do laundry.
I'm really hoping that's not the case because I know my usual plumber won't want to fix it so I'll have to get someone else, and they may not be so honest.
I also managed to schedule an eye doctor appointment for today. It's way overdue considering it's been 6 years since I've been to the eye doctor.
She said everything looks fine with my eyes and my prescription didn't change much at all so that's good. I so can't wait until my new glasses come in. My current ones keep falling apart.
The lady was really nice and she talked me through the "puffy air" test. I really hate the puffy air. At least I don't pass out with that like I do the eye drops though. My eyes look healthy which is so very great since I'm so squeamish about eye issues.
I also have a Doctors appointment for tomorrow when I get off work. I've been really draggy all week and my left ear is bothering me.
It doesn't hurt, it just gets a weird fluttering in it every so often. I'm hoping nothing crawled into my ear when I was asleep. I've heard stories about that sort of thing so it creeps me out when my ear does that. I hope it's something that doesn't involve creepy crawlies.
Usually I just sleep on my days off. It feels good to actually do stuff. Though not good enough that I'll make it a habit to get things done on my days off.

I'm starting to wonder if Brian pissed off a Gypsy somewhere along the line. As a group we're not the luckiest bunch of coconuts. ;D
Hope you can find an honest plumber, Cordy.
You could actually feel the different rounds of storms as they rolled through today. All of a sudden you could feel pretty strong pressure around your sinuses. The storm would pass and just as quickly the pressure would fade.
It was a very odd sensation.
Has anyone seen that commercial for Verizon where the guy is singing Foreigner's Urgent?
The actor looks like he could play David Boreanaz' geeky younger brother on Bones.

Which prompts the question, Are coconuts lucky?
You gotta figure, as a fruit (?), there's not the brightest bunch in the herd.

Glad things went at least somewhat smoothly,Cordy. Try putting the natural enzyme stuff in your toilet or drains once a month or when it's real rainy or you put a lot of load on the pipes. That dissolves roots, paper, etc. but is non toxic. As for the drops bit,one reason I recommended the gel and mask/bandages/pads is that you can start out putting it outside on the lids,in the corners or wherever you can tolerate a 'sneak attack' and it'll melt and flow over your eyes. (think about how lotion or makeup will drift if it liquifies after you sleep.) Covering the eyes speeds that up and gets the gel in your eyes rather than on your pillow. We'll probably get y'all's storms but all we've had so far is cloud cover and terrific breezes. The dogs are restless and lethargic both, though ,and they do that before it rains. I agree about the Verizon guy. Thanks for more good music. Best of luck with your weekends!

What an extraordinary day. Long day at work, great work out, and then a rehearsal that has actually started to resemble a show.
No wonder I'm so tired all the time. I'm in pretty much non-stop "go" mode from when I wake up at 6 a.m. until like 9 or 10 o'clock at night four to five nights a week -- and then there's the media consumption.
I should just get my sleep removed.
Night, everyone.

Be careful with the removal, we don't want your subconscious become super-sized. Because that would suck.
