Okay kids -- I'm going to share with you my company. Because I feel safe here at HtH. I started this up 4 years ago, after working in the design industry a long time. We're #1 independent web development company in Lexington Kentucky, pop 260,000. With heavy traffic, blazzin search engine placement statewide, and robust phone book presence. // Backstory // some of you know this -- some may not. But I run this company and only did it take off when I stepped forth as in a Designer title, under my husband who I deemed Owner. And in a sense his financial support allowed for me to start this so he should be titled owner. Because trust me -- it's really hard to break in those first few years and turn a profit and stay strong. But click around, all the site designs are mine. I dont have anything from my new designer in here yet. I work in hand with my amazing Programmer who writes the tricky hard nosed coding, which you will not see unless your a pro and know what to look for (function). I encourage any feedback. Alright, I just have to share some words from Dave, who is (as I've stated before) my absolute fav listening pleasure in this world. I have been blessed to see him and the band in concert on several occasions.
And he is so -- no mortal words strung together will do.
So this one goes out to those friends in TJ's life -- and it pretty much nails it.
Rhyme And Reason Dave Matthews Band
Oh well oh well so here we stand But we stand for nothing My heart calls to me in my sleep How can i turn to it 'Cause i'm all locked up in this Dark place-- And i do not know i'm as good as dead My head aches-- Warped and tied up i need to kill this pain
My head won't leave my head alone And i don't believe it will Until i'm dead and gone My head won't leave my head alone And i don't believe it will Until i'm six feet under ground
How long i'm tied up My mind in knots-- My stomach reels in concern for what i might do or What i've done It's got me living in fear Well i know these voices must Be my soul i've had my grave Lying wired and shut and quiet in my grave Leave me here Leave it to me to waste here So young and here i am again Talking to myself A tv blares Oh man Oh how i wish i didn't smoke Or drink to reason with my head But sometimes this thick confusion Grows until i cannot bear it all Needle to the vein Needle to the vein Take this needle from my vein my friend I said In my grave Lying, lying cold in my grave The reason--my reason Take my head off this terror The fearing won't come back I can't see my mind's all wiped clean The needle Make my great escape I seem caught in time My head leaves my being Body falls cold And i have seen heaven

Sounds like you have the perfect job - well, from my point of view it's a perfect job - I don't have enough comprehensive design skills to do that sort of job myself, though.

From what I've seen, you both have seriously mad skeelz. That froggy is so pretty. Makes me wish I didn't feel obligated to stomp froggies when I see them.
Well, no. That was a year ago. I've grown as a person. For now, I will only stomp, mutilate, destroy and run over repeatedly froggies if they are in a top hat and tails. Otherwise I just kick 'em.
Stupid Michigan Max. Stupid WB.
* kicks a random frog *
One of my favorite throwaway scenes in "Moulin Rogue!" is when the Duke notices a little frog during his picnic with Satine and (with no sense of irony) Christian. They cut away, and then cut back to him stomping the poor little froggy.
* lighter * for the song, btw.
I'm hoping to get hooked up with some better imaging software. My sister's hooking me up with Photoshop 6.0, which should handle nearly anything I would need it to.
Right now I can scan and shoot nearly anything, and pressed for it, I could shoot an image from a dvd while it was playing (last night I learned how to grab a still image from an .mpeg I shot a week or so ago in a bar) tho I'm not sure I have anything rght now capable of grabbing a specific image off a dvd.
I'm hoping, soon, that I'll have a graphics program worthy of this machine -- for something less than the $700 asking price.
Garr.
