Sounds like a wonderful little town to me.
Think Joss would be our mayor? ;D
Yeah, and Nathan Fillion can be our Sheriff. ;D

My friend just called to tell that the company he is working in is looking to hire about 30+ IT people. Which is good, since I hear the pay there is very good. On the other hand, there's a chance I might have to work with AS400 systems, which is just old and ick. Plus I know nothing off. But you won't know until you try, right?
So now I got to go and type up my resume, another thing I hate about job hunting. It's so hard to tell the difference between mild exaggeration, and big damn lie.

So, has anyone been looking for a new job lately?
I'm getting a job, it starts next Saturday. Its only one day a week, I'm so going to miss being able to sleep in.

I have been working tirelessly, tirelessly I say, at my father-in-law's firm. When I started I had really, really hoped that I would get special priveliges but nothing, nothing at all...
I work 10 hours on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The rest of the week I have school and I work 5 hours on Wednesdays. It hasn't been a good few weeks for me...at all.

I may be drifting into dangerous waters at work.
I don't know if I've described an odd personality quirk I have. Just the one, mind you.
I put up with a lot from people. I am very forgiving with people who piss me off. It's nothing I do intentionally, I just tend to forgive and mostly forget.
Up to a point that is.
Once they piss me off a certain number of times I tend to write them off. I'm still civil to them, but I tend to become very businesslike with them. I say as little as possible and try not to spend much time around them.
Unfortunately this has just happened with my boss and people close to me are starting to notice. When I get pissed off I get really quiet and it's not always easy to spot if you don't know me.
I think my boss has noticed though. I've tried, but I just can't act like I care around her. Other people aren't too happy with her either. The whole office has a feel like your parents are fighting and trying not to let the kids know.
It's very draining.

That sounds terrible. A hostile work environment is nobody's friend.
How goes the job hunt?
