Not an awful day by any stretch, but I was hoping to do laundry. Instead I watched the three hours of Monk/psych/House I taped last night and did dishes. But yay, clean dishes.
I didn't accomplish as much as I wanted to, but that's not a terrible thing. It's good to take a day to relax sometimes.
Nice Prairie Home Companion repeat, and decent enough 'Thon. Great batter from everyone.
And now ... the stretching of out. Have great nights, everyone.

It sounds as if you did pretty well. In an ideal world, one has gadgets wash and dry clothes while other metal boxes cook our food and wash the dishes while we watch t.v.,play on the computer and listen to the wireless. But since the wee droids haven't gotten adept or cheap enough to iron, fold or hang clothes, pick up clutter, sweep and mop and all that other neat ,domestic stuff, even the technologically blessed have housework accumulate to about twice what one has time and energy for. I think there's some natural law that conserves the amount of chore time we have to have- no matter what.
