A most excellent weekend.
I got the laundry done, the dishes done, some shelving needs purchased (I want my dvds to be in a better place, rather than all crammed together in a pile) and I made some headway on Py's birthday present, which I will not be uploading on YouTube because people will get the wrong idea entirely. I can't finish it, tho, until S3 of Nip/Tuck comes out on Tuesday, but I'll finish it just as soon as I can.
I'm not looking forward to quitting smoking next weekend, but I've got to. I'm diving into this week with determination that I will be waking up early (the reason for this late post is I took an unintentional nap this evening and missed part of "The 4400," which made me unhappy if quite unintentionally rested. I did catch most of the Shatner roast and it was wickedly funny), getting in a nice walk, having some breakfast and then tomorrow is going to be a very full day at work.
Tomorrow night is the penultimate installment for "The Closer" for this season (before their interstitial eppies in December, anyway -- go TNT!) and the second installment of "Prison Break" for this season. I'm looking forward to both.
With N/T-S3 dropping on Tuesday (along with the season finale of "Rescue Me") and the new season starting Sept. 5, we're looking at a banner week for ravenous media consumption. My shelves will probably go up on Wednesday or Thursday, and I'm just excited about how my three N/Ts are going to look next to my Jossverse collection and the other cancelled shows I've collected (still need to get VM and Kingdom Hospital, but that will happen eventually).
New VM must be starting up soon. I'd have assumed my cable provider would've advised me about CW, but probably it'll just take over the channel WB has been underutilizing badly for the past couple of years.
Now if only I can remember which channel that is. ;D
Anyway, looking forward to an exciting if draining and demanding and potentially healthier week.
Dare to dream, anyway.
