I'll either be at a friend's house or watching Conan tonight, but I'll probably watch Serenity after that and pretend like I was here.
Anyway, I've just been playing ROMs all day. There's nothing like pirated games from 10 years ago to celebrate the transcension from one year to the next. It's like saying, "It may be turning 2006 at midnight, but it will always be 1995 in my heart." Except we didn't have any White Stripes or Buffy in 1995, and I couldn't drive, so really I'm good with the present also.

It's official I will definitely not be here for the viewage of Serenity. because I will be out bowling with a friend, who I haven't seen in a year. But not to fret, I will be trying to convert her to the Verse, tonight.

My brother called me this morning. They are just going to watch some movies tonight and asked me over. I told him I already had plans. ;D

Cool! This will be way more fun, plus no having to drive with the drunks on the road.

Exactly the kind of thing I like to avoid since they make me nervous even if I'm not doing anything wrong - which is the usual case unless you count speeding. I do like to drive fast.

Well, I've been watching a lot of The Twilight Zone marathon today while shifting a lot of my writing to e-mail so it'll be easy to move.
I'm looking forward to this.
Anyone want to watch the Joss Whedon introduction while we're waiting for 11:13/10:13c?

Actually I'm too sick to go out anyway. Gaby came to work with a fever right before Christmas and made everyone else at work sick.
I yelled at her - okay I didn't actually yell but I told her she really needed to be at home instead of giving us germs - for coming into work. She said that the owner says you have to be at work unless you're dead.
He was like that when he first took over the place but he's not like that now. She had a high fever for crying out loud. Now we're all paying for it.
Enzo go sick first, I've been taking him to work with me rather than letting him stay home all day alone. They can't say he's doing anything wrong if I know where he is 24/7 now can they? Plus I don't want him having fun while he's not in school or he'll never want to go back.
Today I woke up with a scratchy throat. I ran out of my allergy meds which have been keeping this from getting bad, I did get some more but it was too late to take my dose since it's 24-hour medication and I take it at 6:00 a.m.
So now I have chills and a cough. I'm still up for this though. I even have some Arbor Mist for the occasion - I got carded when I bought it today. How cool is that? ;D

I'm probably better off not going out tonight either. I'm feeling slightly feverish, but still totally up for watching this. ;D
