I just saved a bunch of money by switching to Geiko ..... okay, not really.
Brandon is out!!! He just came by and he's out!!!
He's on probation for the next two years but he's out. He spent 7 hours in court today. He wanted me to be there but he was having trouble getting in touch with me.
I had issues with AT&T over the collect calling thing. He was able to call me last Monday collect but he couldn't call me after that.
I found out that he was having trouble calling me on Thursday night from his Aunt. So on Friday before I went to visit him I called AT&T to try and sort things out.
They kept transferring me to different departments and it ended up not being settled before I had to leave. I was late getting down there for the visit so I didn't get to see him very long since he had other visitors.
So, when I got back home I called them again. I had to have them make a test collect call. It didn't work so the guy had to do something to fix it. I waited and waited and was beginning to be afraid that I was going to be late for work when he was finally able to make a collect call.
So I thought it was all fixed. But I still didn't hear from him. Then his Aunt called me on Sunday and told me he still couldn't call me.
So on Monday I went through the routine again. This time they were able to make a collect call so it wasn't on AT&T's end.
So I had to call the company that handles the calls from the jail. Turns out there was a block on that end because the people who had my phone number before me didn't pay their bill for the collect calls. I guess since my number is unlisted they didn't realize someone new had the number. You'd think they'd know that but I guess not.
So the lady told me that withing two hours he should be able to call me. She had the charges removed.
Well, he told me he tried to call today but couldn't reach me. He tried calling when they released him.
So, he drove all the way over here from his parents house - which is a 20 miles drive.
He's got a lot of rules to follow on probation of course, but it's so much better than him being locked up.
And the best part - Crystal is banned permanently from Outlaws!!! So we don't have to worry about running into her there anymore.
Now, as long as he has patience and follows the rules everything will end up alright.
The good guys can really win.
