It's been so crazy for me lately. I've been so busy and it seems like I keep getting busier.
I did finally get around to building my new computer and it is so very sweet. I'm very happy that it works and I can't wait to really put the new dual core processor through it's paces. Of course I actually need to be home for awhile to do that.
Heather moved back in, and brought her new boyfriend with her. So now my house is even more full - plus lots of drama. He seems okay, but I don't really see him that much. I'm not really even home much here lately. Too busy with work and other stuff.
Though, he did eavesdrop on one of my phone conversations and then told Heather what he overheard. Which involved a huge misunderstanding. He only heard parts of the conversation and drew his own conclusions. Basically he got Heather all upset for no reason which makes us both wonder if he really just misunderstood or if he wanted to cause trouble.
My son doesn't like him at all. He doesn't trust him. Plus, the guy - whose name is Brian funnily enough - tried to say that my son got into the Parrot Bay and was drinking. Turns out he was going on half truths again and it was a misunderstanding - which doesn't really make my son like him any better.
And all this because Heather was lonely and moved way too fast with this guy. Now she's getting really tired of him but we're kinda stuck with him until he gets enough money to move out. Well, I could kick his ass out but I just can't make someone go live in their car or anything.
Sometimes it sucks to be nice.
Also, I'm dating a new guy. Well, we've been seeing each other for a couple of months now. Or rather he's been chasing me for the last couple of months. We've only really gotten more serious the last few weeks.
He's a whole lot of fun - especially now that he dropped the whole Riley thing. I was seriously getting annoyed with that crap. I don't deal well with jealousy at all.
He's more than a little insecure since I have a ton of male friends. He's always making random comments about it.
I had a talk with him and told him he'd so have to drop the jealousy thing if he wanted things to go any further.
He finally listened to me and things are going pretty well. He still makes the occasional comment but it's not so bad now.
Oh, and did I mention the guy worships me? Not in a creepy way. In a way that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
He even worked on my car yesterday - fixing an issue that my previous boyfriend ended up giving my car when he tried to "fix" it. Now my check engine light doesn't come on, the car runs smoothly, and my transmission isn't leaking.
Then, he made me a steak dinner. Not a bad way to spend the day.
Though I did have trouble driving home later. I'd been up since 3 a.m. since I had to open. I didn't leave his house till Midnight and it's a 20 minute drive back to my house.
I was having a ton of trouble staying awake on the way home.
We've been spending so much time either together or talking on the phone that I rarely have time to get online anymore.
I even totally spaced out the fact that "Drive" started so I had to watch the first few eps on FOX's MySpace page this weekend. I did set the dvr to record it from now on though. Oh, and I totally love it too.
I still need to watch tonights ep though. I just finished watching the others.
My son does like him which is a good thing. Though they really haven't been around each other too much. He's been over a few times and we've all played the Wii.
I'm going over to his house again tomorrow to watch movies. I'm going to bring "Serenity" this time. I told him he actually has to pay attention to this movie though. He thinks he's seen it before but he's not positive.
He is willing to watch it for me though, which is unlike the previous guy.
He really is sweet to me, but I'm not really sure if it'll work out forever or anything. For one I don't like to move to fast. I also don't like the whole "Riley" thing. That and he drinks a little much for my taste. He never acts drunk or anything and he's not mean but he is a drinker.
He has slowed down on that quite a bit being around me though. Well except this past Friday but we all got a bit carried away that night. Heather and I hadn't been to Outlaws in weeks so we had more than a little bit of fun that night.
I could tell you about that night, but then I'd have to kill you ...
Okay, maybe it wasn't that bad of a night, but I could so use that in my book about the soap opera that is Farmington. It would make for some really ... interesting reading.
I really hope this made some kinda sense. I'm tired. I so need to catch up on the sleep I missed this weekend. I'm glad I'm off the next two days.
I hope everyone is doing well. I really do miss you guys. I can't believe I missed out on Auntie's birthday. I'm such a bad friend lately.
I love you guys and I hope to catch up with you soon.
