Ok then. Kinda flimsy answers, some of those but I guess they're ok. Ah, it may be true, but theere's lots of filmsy things in life. How about this then. Why did Gunn threaten to kill Angelus several times? Why did he even take a crossbow down to the cage with him? Idol threats much? He should have had a tranquiliser gun. Stupid writing. Gunn was fulling his role as the muscle and not as the brain. hehe, I dont know why - his judgement wasnt up to scratch then? Why didn't Jasmine have the whole fang gang killed by The Beast? What did she want them alive for when she wasn't too concerned with thousands of other random deaths? So that she could fool them? Her plan would have worked out much better if she boinked Connor then got rid of Angel & Co. I have often wondered that and I could probably make up reasons for her intent, but I honestly dont know why. She would have more of a reason to kill the fang gang off quickly than Angelus anyhow. Were the deaths really random? I cant quite remember, but the beast killed some people to get the raining balls of fire, and the eternal darkness. As for W&H, they were in the way and certainly against World Peace. Why did the beast follow Jasmine?

Maybe Jasmine was fond of them? Wait a minute, why was Angelus "crucial" to Cordevilia's plan? I mean, apart from getting Angel out of the way.

maybe jasmine wanted to distract the fang gang, you keep em occupied while she gives birth to herself. so that way they wouldnt find out that cordevila was pregnate to soon.

Yeah I got that part, but why did she need ANGELUS specifically. Cordelia says to the Beast that "Angelus is crucial to my plan" and she talks into his head with the orange ball thingy, but for what reason if she only had to get Angel out of the picture? She definitely wanted to distract them. Perhaps she hoped Angelus would take out the gang? I dunno.

She can't have wanted Angelus to take out the gang because she could have got The Beast to do it just as effectively.
The random deaths I meant were when Wesley referred to The Beast causing floods and earthquakes which put the death toll in the thousands.
The whole point was that Evil Cordelia was to go to any lengths to bring about Jasmine's birth because once that happened the game was over and world peace would reign supreme. Why did she want the Fang Gang alive when they caused her so many problems?
IMO, the whole season would have been better if she'd explained her whole plan to Connor and turned on the rest much earlier, like episode 8 or something. Then much of the season would have involved Angel and co. duking it out with The Beast with Cordelia and Connor in the background.

maybe she needed the fang gang to protect her against other demons while the beast prepared rituals or something but she also wanted angelus out to keep the fang gang running around 24/7 so bussiness wouldn't slow down and they catch wind of whats going on.

There were no demons after her and, besides, The Beast was more than adequate protection. I've got a feeling this thread is turning into a list of unanswered (and probably unanswerable) questions. Proof, if any were really needed, that S4's main story arc was pish. ;D Boo, Charisma Carpenter, boo!

Someone once said something on the TVTOME forum that made very much sense. All the destruction that was caused, including through the Beast and Angelus was to make Jasmine appearance more miraculous and world peacely. You have to remember that Cordelia was very pregnant - anything she says and does is affect by her hormones.

Here's another one.
Why, after trying so hard to conceal her pregnancy from the others, did Evil Cordelia come down at the end of "Orpheus" and show everybody she was pregnant? Did she just want an extra challenge? She could have stayed up there in her room for some time longer.
Why didn't she just leave town after "Apocalypse Nowish"? She could just have said that she wasn't ready to deal with the fight against evil right now and taken a vacation to Barbados or something.
No other season of either Buffy or Angel falls apart when analysed like this. Why, God, why?

pregnate women are hazardous to a males health and other women of course but more dangerous to guys.
also i think Evil Cordelia wanted angelus out because angel would probabely find out to soon about Evil cordelia being pregnate so thats why she wanted angelus out so he wouldnt find out so fast.

No, actually Evil Cordelia stated herself that the reason she released Angelus (at enormous risk to her own life) was to kill the Fang Gang. In which case, why didn't she just get The Beast to do it? So, so far the only reasonable answer for all these questions is that Evil Cordelia's hormones were playing up? Hmm.

Is it advisable to drink when heavily pregnant?

Nope, nor while plotting a season. Case in point ...
