What happens with people who are aggressively passive? We never hear about them.

I guess they're like the militant agnostics. Y'know... "I don't know... and you don't either!!!"

Too bad the 'draft' story is a hoax. The draft bill was actually sponsored by Rangel. " The House voted 402-2 to defeat the draft bill offered last year by Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y. Even Rangel urged Democrats to vote against the bill, and charged Republicans were cynically trying to use the measure to escape election-season questions about the war in Iraq." Of course none of the politicians currently running for office want to address this issue. They know it would be political suicide to pass this bill now, before the election. It's what they're not saying about the possibility of a need for reinstatement of the draft that should scare people. Rangel's reasons for sponsoring the bill in the first place were to get the dialogue out in the open before the election, not after. If anyone is interested in how the administration intends to finish what they started in Iraq, this article might shed some light, or at least get people involved in the issues. www.rockthevote.com/rtv-afs-reality.htm

Gotta ask... does anyone know what language Bush is speaking?
****
(sorry, this was posted quickly between questions during the debate... I wanted to quote the section that I was specifically referring to, but I honestly couldn't tell what the hell he was saying. I'll try to find it when the transcripts become available)

With this debate, I felt like it was a draw, but I think we got more substance in this debate than the previous one. And with that, I am leaning towards Kerry, because I agree with a lot of the stuff he said.

I honestly have no idea. It was fun watching him getting all pissed off though. It was also scary watching him getting all pissed off. You need someone with a level head to run the country.

Don't expect that from Bush....the poor guy still sleeps with a night light cause he's afraid of the monster in his closet. (Even though we all know it's Chaney making those growl noises just to scare Bush into leaving the White House so he could take over! ;D)
